Ashes of the Deep Sea

Congratulations to Big Eyeball for opening a new book. Let's start with an idiom solitaire. I'll start with "open the door"!

When I first started reading this book, I had the feeling that I had seen a good online novel again, because it has an unconventional plot, good writing, and the characterization of the group of characters is also unique. If it were not a structured novel, I would not even doubt the reality of this world. Until the cause of this doomsday was revealed, I felt that this was not simply defined by an online novel. I'm trying to understand the author's definition of doomsday. Doomsday is the great annihilation caused by the incompatible underlying logic of countless universes approaching each other due to proton expansion. For example, the basic rule of our universe is that there will be no speed exceeding the speed of light, while the speed of light in Universe B is only one scale. The collision of the two universes is destined to be unable to merge, so , in this structured world, countless bubble universes squeezed each other due to expansion, and the collapse of the universe resulted in the Great Annihilation. The Infinite Sea in the novel is a small shelter composed of fragments of several worlds that can harmonize with each other. The so-called outer gods are the surviving individuals, machines, and concepts. However, this shelter did not solve the coming of the Great Annihilation, but only in the last moments. It provides a hotbed for civilization to survive. World collisions are still happening outside. The outer gods died at the moment of collision. It is the inertia of the world that supports the shelter. With the collapse of the underlying logic of the shelter, the harmonious world begins to fall apart. The indescribable thing in Cthulhu is the inconsistency of logic between the world fragments. For example, if Poseidon dies, the waves will Disappear, if you can recall the waves, then you are a heretic in this world, because this concept has disappeared, the concept of death collapses, and death disappears. The collision of the universe is mapped onto the rules. I think this concept makes this novel no longer a simple fast food novel, but in fact, what I want to say is the civilization explained by the author through the mouth of the characters. If you have seen The Three-Body Problem, you should have seen Liu's words, giving civilization to time, rather than giving time to civilization, which is an application of Pascal's "giving life to time, rather than giving time to life." It was a bit confusing to read at the time, until I saw the author describing it in this book. When the end is approaching, the protagonist is preparing to enter everyone's information, detonating the doomsday outside the shelter, accelerating the ongoing doomsday, and providing the first impetus for creation. When the new world is born, humans at the end of the world survive because of complete information. However, there is a problem. Although people have survived, they have no poetry, no skills, and no knowledge. The author's point of view is that civilization without people is meaningless, and the same is true for people without civilization. Therefore, in order to continue civilization, the fire bearers in the book trek through the apocalypse, even if they sacrifice themselves, they must pass the carrier of civilization to the corresponding focus, so that the carrier of civilization other than humans can also survive. At this point, my evaluation of this book has completely changed. It reminds me of the classic topic of whether to save cats or paintings. It is natural to argue that sympathy is more important, but as a carrier of time, the thoughts conveyed by a painting allow us to feel civilization. It is not a cold painting, nor a hard stone with hieroglyphs engraved on it, nor a bamboo slip with obscure words. "No matter how glorious the memory is, it will be lost over time" "One of the significance of cultural relics and archeology lies in this information" Chinese people often say that we should learn from history, precisely because the Chinese civilization has an endless history. Thank you Yuantong for bringing him a new world, and also thank Yuantong for ending him perfectly. The ending is harder than the beginning, thank you very much.

The writing is very nice, and there are many advantages that you can understand after reading it. I would like to complain about the shortcomings. After the historical distortion event, the atmosphere became more and more youthful. The atmosphere was too relaxed and happy. It had a deliberately funny feeling like anime and manga, and even a sense that everyone was a good kid. Generally speaking, except for the beginning and the period when history was replaced, there was no part that made me feel nervous. In addition, the proportion of female characters among the main characters was a bit high, and the ability and mysterious logic chain were acceptable but a bit vague. The most important thing is that if the author has a high output, I can ignore these, but with such a new author, it is difficult for me not to pay attention to the details.

Character drawing

As the Ghost Captain, Duncan is a well-traveled, cruel, cruel and domineering character. How can he be described as such a gentle and licking dog? At that time, he lost control and lost his rationality, leaving a mark of horror, disgust and avoidance in people's hearts. Now he is back to say that he has recovered. Human nature, he is a good and enthusiastic citizen captain. Sherifanna ignored him and ran to lick him. Finally, he boarded the boat to join us. It was inexplicable. It felt like he was forced on them. He was different from the captain I imagined and was a bit out of place, even though he came from time travel. I still like secrecy. The Fool is cold and domineering on stage, but the curly-haired baboon is much more distinct offstage.

As shown

The first time I read a novel, I felt itchy. So I went to the starting point to read it and there was no update. I thought about picking up a few more to read, but I still couldn't control myself and clicked in. I can keep up with other novels and even keep them until the end 😭 Can you hurry up with your big eyes and cute pupils in the fifth hour? Ten more cute pupils? More cute pupils? 😡

I already have a script in my mind The world-famous love between the aloof Queen and the expedition captain The heroic captain who was widowed in his early years Meeted the incomparable young princess at sunset Get to know each other and accompany them through the boundless deep sea Overcoming the obstacles of political opponents but fearing the ethics of the world This relationship is only Being able to stop at the court so close to the end of the world Brewing agarwood like fine wine However, things are unpredictable, and cutting-edge ideas that pursue progress will inevitably touch the veil that shrouds history It is natural that after many years of accumulation intertwined interests, huge power and paying a certain price cutting-edge ideas He was naturally strangled in the cradle Buried with his thoughts was the high-spirited and majestic Queen Therefore, the captain who had been opening up the frontier for mankind would doubt the meaning of his life would doubt the logic of the bottom of society would doubt the trajectory of the world The reality is too narrow and too supportive. So crowded that he could not accommodate his queen So he decided to shatter the space cut the curtain trample history break through the void because he believed that his queen was watching over him at the end of his great route That was the harbor of the captain of the Lost Home

You are the guardian of human civilization, born of the first spark struck by man with flint. You see people talking, trading, and reproducing. You see people building tall buildings, building factories, and even mastering the power of nuclear explosions. On this day, everything will return to nothingness. For the first time in history, all of humanity is united - because of fear. They used their best technology to build a fortress that could even defend against star collisions. This fortress is you, you are the fortress. In the face of disasters at the world rules and concept level, it did not even persist in a Planck time unit. When you wake up again, the world has become a cramped shelter. There are people here, or rather, creatures who call themselves humans... Or whatever. They may be mechanical creations, or they may be mimicking molluscs, or they may simply be just a line of simulated data. They even have only two eyes. They are just learning to walk in Handan and imitating others. They also have no human eating habits, cultural customs, and do not know what the starry sky is. They just call themselves humans. You have the power to destroy them. Neither threats nor inducements can stop your actions. They have nothing to do with you and everything you are familiar with. Until they sent the best historians to present the latest and most complete archaeological results. Obviously they don't know the meaning of those symbols, everything is painted in a crooked way. They also don't know that these things actually have meaning and even melody. "This is really all that is left." You unfold the graffiti-like transcript on the magic scroll: "Outside the pavilion, beside the ancient road, the grass is green and green."

In my mind it's almost like this
