However, the further development is a little disappointing. The protagonist is overly controlled and there are too many acting parts, which makes this kind of pretentiousness seem a bit naive. Acting is okay, but if the readers know that he is acting and know his true thoughts and purposes, there will be no sense of mystery. Without the sense of mystery and admiration for the protagonist gained after the truth is revealed, they will only find such manipulations a bit ridiculous and funny. In addition, I feel that the author's performance of the protagonist is a little underwhelming. He only learned the form but not the meaning of the imitation of "The Godfather". Some bloody scenes actually reduced the atmosphere created by the beginning of the book. Some of the protagonist's expressions and language revealed that the character is a bit young. Although it is an acting, these performances are revealed. Compared with "The Godfather", it really does not reflect the level of the character. Finally, this book mixes too many elements, including nuclear war, wasteland, Cthulhu, and political intrigue. It is not impossible to combine these things, but with so many things mixed together, it is difficult to highlight the focus. It has a somewhat nondescript feeling. It starts like a medieval fantasy, then seems like steampunk and 20th century gangsters, and then jumps to the post-nuclear war. Such chaos, at least for me, is not a good experience. This is also a problem with current Internet literature. Throwing in various elements results in a novel that looks different, especially some very white novels, which creates a very bad trend. I hope the author can make some choices and clarify what he wants to write, instead of blindly filling the book with things that may be attractive.

Although the dialogue is humorous, it is very cliched. You borrowed a lot of dialogue from movies, which is actually a bit watery. Why not deliberately describe the plot and express it to the point. It has strong characteristics of foreign novels and is not to the readers' appetite. Maybe what you write is more like a movie or TV series than a novel.
