Unearthed Gems: Books at a College Student's Level!
What does college-level writing mean? First, it's not childish prose or overly simplistic writing. The logic should hold together, and the writing should flow. It might be understated yet humorous, awe-inspiring in its imagination, or so finely written that it resonates with the reader. And so on. In short, it shouldn't make you feel inexplicably pulled out of the story.

An Old Bookworm's Reading List
I only recommend books I've read. I prefer DND, historical, and urban fiction. 1. I have high standards for the author's writing. 2. I expect the settings and basic facts in a story to make sense. 3. I have fairly high standards for the plot. 4. I absolutely can't stand idiotic characters. Overall, my recommendations focus on four aspects: writing, characters, plot, and setting, followed by an overall recommendation. Sometimes I like a book because of its author, not the work itself.

A Middle-Aged Reader's Book Nook
