The Poor Little Noble Academy Student Is Actually an Undercover Agent

Rhein had never seen his mother before, but one day she suddenly showed up at his door, clutched him, and burst into tears. "Son! I finally found you! Come home with me, quick!"

His deadbeat father said, "You haven't been home in all these years. It's about time you did something for the family. As it happens, your brother dropped out, so go to school in his place."

A shining example of valuing education... If only the school weren't an elite academy full of privileged heirs, and Rhein's identical twin brother hadn't offended the entire school and been bullied into being too afraid to attend.

Sucking up to the powerful and bullying the weak, betraying his own family, serving three different masters... His dear older brother had done it all.

Rhein's eyes brimmed with tears. "Awesome!"

His dear mother: "...This idiot might help us count the money after we sell him."

After enrolling, Rhein kept up his brother's persona, and even took it further, dating several people at once. Everyone mocked him for never learning his lesson and swore they would never have anything to do with him.

Then one day, a post appeared on the forum: [This is my wife. Can you all stay away from him?]

In the attached photo, a hand held the boy's chin. His catlike eyes glimmered with aggrieved tears... Within an hour of being posted, the photo topped the most-downloaded list.

The commenters angrily accused the poster of making up a rumor with absolutely no shame. Some cursed him out: Is this your wife? He's obviously my wife!

The rumors got out of hand, and the Academy's F4 couldn't take it anymore. They kept the little cat close and watched him like hawks. Some observant students noticed that the people who bullied Rhein gradually disappeared, and everyone agreed the F4 were behind it.

They'd actually do something this disruptive to the balance of power just to get rid of their rivals! Everyone, unite!

The F4, saddled with all sorts of blame, eyed one another warily. It had to be the other guy, trying to score points with Rhein... Despicable! Tasteless! Since we're being blamed anyway, we might as well make it true!

The various factions tore into one another until, one day, they watched a classmate get arrested with their own eyes. The executive who looked down at them from on high, cool and indifferent, was none other than Rhein, usually so pitiful, meek, and harmless!

F4: "...Entrapment?!"

Rhein: "Put on the silver handcuffs, and then we can talk about it :3"

As a federal agent, Rhein infiltrated the aristocratic academy. It was like a mouse finding a granary, a return to paradise.

There was so much here, so much crime! A cold-blooded arms dealer, a playboy whose sex-industry business also involved human trafficking, and a yandere who was an entertainer by day and a stalker by night...

After becoming the privileged heirs' pet/prey/master/one that got away, Rhein happily messaged his superior. [I've collected evidence of the criminals' crimes. Send the arrest warrants right away. I'm going to put them all in prison!]

A drama queen x the privileged heirs he acts his way into capturing. The final pairing is with the superior.

Content warnings: Bottom protagonist, bottom-oriented romance, and a magnetic protagonist with a crowd of admirers. Fake angst, beautiful-but-tragic characters, chuunibyou, B-king swagger, and plenty of crazy energy. Lots of staring, dog training, and scenes of righteous justice delivered with a cool pose. Other characters' perspectives are full of misunderstandings.

The protagonist is an evil little cat who deliberately gets hurt and plays pitiful to win sympathy and manipulate the male love interests. The men are all villains, and the protagonist has them eating out of his hand.

Everyone is evil. The story is all about two people falling for each other, each just as unhinged as the other.
