As the Joker was getting ready to go to sleep, a figure suddenly appeared before him and said that, under God's orders, he had come to the mortal realm to tell the Joker something.
"Before long, you'll get pregnant and have a child."
The Joker's expression turned serious. He pondered for a moment. "I'm a man. How am I supposed to give birth? Am I Mary or something?"
It was the funniest joke of the year. The Joker laughed and laughed, then killed the angel and went to bed.
As the days passed, Harley noticed the Joker's belly growing bigger and bigger. He was even throwing up nonstop. A checkup confirmed it: he was pregnant!
After her initial shock, Harley was overcome with delight. "M-me? Is it mine?! Puddin, I'll take such good care of you. Don't smash things, you might hurt the baby! Ahhh!"
What kind of nonsense is this?!
The Joker's smile vanished. Something about this didn't seem right. He decided to cut open his belly and see what was going on.
Harry smiled faintly. Bound to a reincarnation system, he had to find someone willing to give birth to him. During the battle between Batman and the Joker, he slipped and bound himself to the wrong target, landing on the Joker instead of a pregnant woman.
System: Did you do that on purpose or by accident?!
Never mind that. At this point, the Joker had already picked up a scalpel and was planning to cut open his belly and prove there was a baby.
But this was a system where birth was a matter of belief. If he believed there was a baby, there was one. If other people believed there was one, that could work too. If the Joker proved that there was actually nothing in his belly, Harry really would have no way to be born.
What now? How could he get the Joker to willingly get pregnant and give birth?
In less than a second, Harry figured it out. He projected himself before the Joker again and said just one thing.
"It's your child with Batman."
The Joker stared at him darkly. Harley, who had been crying and begging the Joker not to terminate the pregnancy, slowly opened her mouth, speechless.
Silence, silence, and more silence.
The Joker tossed aside the knife, his face glowing with joy. "Why didn't you say so sooner?!"
Some time later, Batman, facing a very pregnant Joker and learning that the baby was their child: ?
Someone's mental illness has been getting worse. He'd better come see what's going on.
Batman, after hearing the whole story: ...
Robin: [Bleep]! [Bleep bleep]!
"Bonus Scene"
The baby grew up in a flash, as if fed miracle fertilizer, and was soon old enough to become Robin.
The Joker was overjoyed. He drew up a career plan, determined to make sure his child became Robin and never fell behind from the starting line. Of course the child of Batman and the Joker would be a Bat-kid! Becoming Robin was a matter of principle! No discrimination allowed!
Just imagine Batman's face when he found out his Robin was the Joker's child. What a thrill! :P
Harry: Fine, make the arrangements. Also, I'm planning to transition soon.
The Joker, who had given birth: ?
The Joker: Absolutely not! How can you be Robin after transitioning?! A blonde girl did it for a few days, got fired, and then vanished without a trace. That's a cautionary tale! I won't let you ruin your future like that!!!
Harley: Is that really the point?!

The author has a habitual urge to kill off the Joker, but hopes the Joker in this story can live a little longer...
Theme: Escaping your family of origin is really hard.
