Tan Yun had lost her memory.
The System told her that all she had to do was transmigrate to parallel worlds and win the favor of an emperor throughout the ages. Once she earned enough affection points, she could unlock her sealed memories.
When she learned the System could alter her appearance and livestream the emperor’s movements, Tan Yun had a sudden idea. “Do the affection points have to be romantic?”
“They can be familial, too.” The System frowned. “Don’t try to exploit a loophole, Host. There’s no way you can transmigrate directly into the family of an emperor throughout the ages.”
“That’s fine.” Tan Yun was brimming with confidence. “They didn’t have DNA tests in ancient times. I’ll just pretend to be the emperor’s younger sister.”
[Parallel World One: Li Shimin]
Give herself a face that looks eighty percent like Dou’s, then join Princess Pingyang’s women’s army.
Before long, everyone’s assumptions turned the brave and battle-hardened general Tan Yun into Li Shimin’s long-lost twin sister.
Tan Yun’s butterfly wings changed history. The founding emperor ended up bypassing Li Yuan altogether.
The women’s army became an established Tang institution, and both Princess Pingyang and Empress Zhangsun earned their place in the history books.
And what about Tan Yun herself?
Of course, she left an autobiography in her tomb as a mischievous little shock for archaeologists in the future: was she a real princess or not?
[Parallel World Two: Wu Zetian]
Study the faces of Yang Shidao and Princess Changguang, then give herself a face that clearly looks like their daughter.
Then she could run into the Yang family matriarch, who was taking her three daughters to make offerings at a temple. Just like that, Tan Yun became the cousin shared by Wu Zetian and Li Zhi.
When the Wu brothers bullied a lone widow and her daughter, she traveled a thousand miles to Jingzhou to stand up for them and offer help when they needed it most.
After Li Zhi ascended the throne, Tan Yun even took on the role of a messenger, making dutiful trips between Daming Palace and Ganye Temple to visit Wu Zetian.
She was with Wu Zetian through childbirth, the rise and fall of empresses, the regency, and her eventual accession to the throne.
As for why she took such a hard line with the Third Lord of Li Dan’s household after Wu Zetian made her a Grand Princess?
Who could transmigrate to the years before the An Lushan Rebellion and still have a good word to say about this emperor who barely rates a half?
[Parallel World Three: Liu Che]
Even if the face she made looked only thirty percent like Liu Qi, she could still appear in Liu Che’s dreams and tell him:
Your father didn’t just ascend to heaven through his achievements, he also had another daughter up there for you!
So before Tan Yun, the mortal undergoing tribulation, had even met her adoptive brother, she had already been given the title “Divine Maiden.”
Fortunately, that empty title didn’t stop her from disguising herself as a man and fighting alongside Wei Qing and Huo Qubing.
And when Tan Yun returned in glory with all her military honors, the Champion Marquis looked utterly stunned, as if to say, “We’ve been comrades for twelve years, and I never knew Mulan was a woman.”
Well... she’d be savoring that expression for years to come.
[Parallel World Four: Liu Bang]
Even a face that looked ninety percent like the young Lord Liu couldn’t earn Liu Bang and Lü Zhi’s trust. But all she had to do was demonstrate strength equal to that of Xiang Yu, the rival of ten thousand men, and the couple readily accepted her as the Han king’s long-lost younger sister.
Xiang Yu, Han Xin, Modu Chanyu: everyone Tan Yun killed became another achievement on her record. But that wasn’t the hard part!
Damn Liu Bang kept saying, “I love my sister dearly,” while his affection score stayed stuck at fifty.
Fortunately, the System had a Plan B. Since Liu Bang and Lü Zhi had supported each other throughout history, it was only fair to calculate their affection scores as sixty and forty.
So Tan Yun was forced to diligently scheme on Lü Zhi’s behalf:
Liu Ying is useless? No worries, there’s still Princess Luyuan!
Han Xin is reluctant to be the Crown Prince’s husband in name only? Better do as he’s told, or he could end up dying in the Bell Chamber!
Only when Lü Zhi passed away with a smile did Tan Yun finally give up hope:
Seriously? You two really are heartless!
[Parallel World Five: Zhu Qizhen]
The punishment mission is to win the favor of a foolish emperor?
Wouldn’t that be even easier?
Years later, Zhu Qizhen died in a forgotten corner.
The System nagged incessantly: “Using Stockholm syndrome to earn affection points is against the rules!”
[Parallel World Six: Ying Zheng]
[Parallel World Seven: Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhu Di]
[Parallel World Eight: Xuanye and Yinfeng]
1. She won’t necessarily be a younger sister. She could be an older sister or another female relative of an older generation.
2. Not every target is an emperor throughout the ages. One example is the foolish emperor Zhu Qizhen.
3. The heroine will not ascend the throne herself, though in some worlds she helps a princess become emperor.
4. All the dynasties in this story exist in parallel timelines.
My upcoming no-romance historical spin-off, Sandbox Game Connects the Dynasties, is available in my author’s collection. Here’s the blurb:
After her beloved grandmother, the only family she had, passed away, Yan An received a huge compensation payment, enough to live comfortably for the rest of her life.
She no longer needed to go to the outer city to kill zombies and mine crystals. She stocked dozens of boxes of nutritional drinks at home and planned to lose herself in a sandbox game until the end of time.
But then a System calling itself “Connect the Dynasties” showed up, rattled off a bunch of incomprehensible nonsense, and issued a pile of baffling missions.
Yan An frowned.
Qin Shi Huang? Never heard of him.
Li Shimin? Who’s that?
Liu E? Doesn’t ring a bell.
After learning she wouldn’t be punished for ignoring the missions, Yan An simply blocked the System and continued building her home in immersive mode, enjoying the pleasures of farming.
What could the System do?
It had to fend for itself, using the tiny bit of energy it had left to send its Host’s sandbox game into the dynasties.
Dividing the twelve hours of the day among twelve different worlds, the System dutifully began completing its Host’s missions for her.

At the foot of Mount Tai, a divine maiden appeared.
Her wheat ripened in five days and nights, her cows gave birth to four calves in a single day and night, and there were also chickens that laid eggs constantly, brightly colored sheep, and even moving iron men.
But the divine maiden was haughty. She ignored even the emperor when he came in person, though the spirit beasts by her side were lively enough:
Want to know what happens in the future? First prove you’re a good emperor.
Want the divine maiden’s grain and iron? Ahem, don’t get ahead of yourself. First earn enough favor with this System.
At the hour of the Rat, Ying Zheng learned from a divine beast that the Qin dynasty would fall after only two generations. He flew into a rage.
At the hour of the Ox, Liu Che learned from a divine beast about Wei Qing and Huo Qubing’s achievements. He was overjoyed.
At the hour of the Tiger, Deng Sui learned from a divine beast that a woman would become emperor in the future. She fell into thought.
At the hour of the Rabbit, Cao Cao learned from a divine beast that the Five Barbarians would devastate the Central Plains during the Western Jin dynasty. He was deeply troubled.
The hours of the Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig followed.
The rulers left the divine maiden’s home, some happy and some sad, as history quietly veered in a new direction.

During a dull stretch of idling above her automatic monster farm, Yan An accidentally opened the System’s catalog module:
Deliver a letter from an NPC named Zhu Yuanzhang to another NPC called Zhu Qiyu, and get a [Doubtfully Valid Iron Deed of Privilege]?
No reason not to take it.
Worth a try.
Give five hundred wheat blocks to an NPC called Ying Zheng and get a [Dagger from the Map of Yan]?
A little pricey.
She’d have to build an automatic farm first.
This NPC called Liu Che wants to trade his daughter for an iron block?
Who does he think she is? She’ll give him ten!
Wait! Human trafficking is illegal!

According to historical records, the Divine Maiden of Mount Tai protected all living things, and peace prevailed throughout the land.
Theme: Women can do anything men can do
Although, writing about Taiping is too paranoid and makes people feel strange.
Ah, indeed, although the history books "exclusively respect Confucianism", I seem to subconsciously know that this emperor is the one who really calls the shots. He wants to open up the frontiers through war, so Wei Huo can be reused, so the country's machine operation is directed to where he sees it. It is written in the history textbook that he used this "means" to rule his subordinates. [Cat Claw]
How to trigger anti-theft when fully booked [Afraid]
Why is the progress so fast? I want to see the details with Lu Pheasant!
[Melted] [melted] I obviously ordered everything, why is there an anti-theft stamp [melted] [melted] [cracked] [cracked]
I really want to know who the next emperor is?
I really don't have a good impression of Zhu Yuanzhang
In later dynasties, fewer and fewer girls leave their names.
What a qualified politician
? Why does this chapter talk about Li Xiuning? What's going on? Chapter sent to the wrong place?
