Cemetery Darling

"Has anything unusual been happening at the cemetery lately?"

"Nothing much. Just a few more rats than usual at night. Could we get a pest control company to deal with them?"

When Xi Zhuo was in high school, he had a secret crush on a boy. He was the brightest star in their class, and his family was wealthy. Xi Zhuo only dared to sneak glances at him through the crook of his arm while resting his head on his desk between classes.

Now, that boy was dead. The news said he had died in a car accident.

It was a terrible tragedy. For his family, at least.

But for Xi Zhuo, who had once witnessed the dead come back to life, it was incredibly fortunate.

The room was frighteningly dark, so dark he could barely see his own hand in front of him. Humming a tune, he dressed the man on the bed and tidied his pale features.

The soil scattered across the basement was slightly damp, making the place a pain to clean. But the young man didn't care.

His eyes shone with an astonishing brightness as he excitedly carried out the ritual, until the dead man came back to life and opened his eyes...

"Who... who are you?"

The man coughed, the ring of stitched flesh around his neck pulling taut. His throat hurt as if someone had slit it open.

The beautiful, unfamiliar young man before him blushed and said softly,

"W-we're lovers."

* Resurrection, amnesia, twisted, horror, seme protagonist

* The blurb is misleading. Don't believe it.

* Maybe a docile househusband type paired with a gravity-wielding, man-eating-plant type. Hard to define exactly.

Theme: None.
