[Western Crossover] The Elf Bat-Brat

A half-elf has appeared in Gotham City. She is willing to use magic to heal Barbara, who is paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. In exchange, Gotham's vigilantes, all renowned detectives, must find this young lady's biological father, whom she has never met.

From Miss White's rather stream-of-consciousness description, the Bat-Family can only determine that he was a handsome man who once used "black" as his codename. He appeared in Gotham twenty-one years ago, deceived her innocent, kind-hearted elf mother, and left her behind like a pearl lost to the sea.

Although Miss White's half-nonhuman blood means the Batcave can't extract DNA from her blood, there is no case the Justice League's smartest advisor can't crack.

The truth lies in the darkness. Literally, of course.

"So, when you first came to Gotham, you really hadn't learned English properly, had you?" Jason tapped White on the forehead helplessly. "Could it be that 'darkness' is 'dark,' while 'black' means the color black?"

"Could he really be my father?" White furrowed her brow, her gaze lingering on the Dark Knight's lower half. "Then how am I supposed to destroy your weapon of mischief?"

The other men in the Batcave couldn't help clenching their legs together. Only a true hero could withstand her ill-intentioned scrutiny and answer without changing expression:

"All right, White, stop fooling around."

"Bruce's weapon of mischief is his business. What does Batman have to do with it?"

Theme: Justice cannot be defeated.
