[Hebrew] One Hundred Thousand Years as Satan in Hell

After the War of the Morning Star, Michael, commander of the angelic legions and the Heavenly Kingdom's God of War, vanished from work. He was the one who had sent the former deputy ruler of Heaven, now the foremost of the Seven Satans, Lucifer, straight to Hell with a single strike of his sword.

To be precise, every angel and demon knew he was still alive, but no one had any idea where he was.

As time passed, Heaven and Hell gradually grew used to the archangel's prolonged absence.

As one of the first five great demons born in Hell, Mephistopheles was a legendary figure there.

And a rather unusual kind of legend.

The eldest, Baal, was fond of fine wine and beautiful women. The most famous liquor transport route in Hell was in Mephistopheles's hands.

The second, Behemoth, loved glittering jewels. Mephistopheles owned mines and had long maintained excellent working relationships with designers in Heaven and the mortal world.

The fourth, Rofocale, was a devoted admirer of beautiful faces. Mephistopheles's looks could fetch a high price even in Heaven, making him the undisputed beauty of Hell.

The fifth, Lolita, worshipped the strong. When Mephistopheles flew into a rage and ripped off half of Behemoth's scales, it was no surprise that he won her heart.

So after Lucifer fell from Heaven, Mephistopheles, the leader of Hell's native residents, was unanimously elected by the demons and rose to power. He went from being an ordinary (???) demon in Hell to becoming Envy, one of the Seven Deadly Sins. He had truly gone from a humble branch to a dazzling phoenix.

Mephistopheles (Michael): ...???

Michael, who had only meant to take a part-time job in Hell to earn some military funds while working undercover, was dumbfounded.

Rather than let the little account he had spent hundreds of thousands of years painstakingly building go to waste, Michael, the backbone of Heaven during wartime and a man with far too much free time in peacetime, gritted his teeth and...

went straight into full-time undercover work in Hell.

Thanks to his outstanding looks and impressive work ethic, Michael soon earned the unanimous approval of the Satans. He was promoted, given great authority, and even became the Demon King's most favored retainer.

Thirty thousand years later, with Hell's construction work nearly complete, Michael was preparing to return to Heaven when he noticed that his wings had turned black.

He couldn't go back.

Then a pair of arms wrapped around his waist from behind. Hot breath brushed his ear as the Demon King lowered his head and kissed his black feathers.

"Since you can't go back, stay in Hell and keep me company."

The Demon King discovered that his little lover shed feathers.

The feathers that fell were the kind that glittered gold.

They carried a scent he knew very well.
