After stabbing the former Prince of Heaven, now Lord of Hell, down from the Mountain of Creation with a single sword stroke, Michael finally escaped the fate that had held him back for hundreds of thousands of years and rose to become the Archangel.
Fortunes come and go. Next year, it could be anyone's turn.
With the principle that you should enjoy yourself while you can, or Lucifer's fate today might be his tomorrow, Michael completely let himself go after becoming the first angel beneath God's throne.
The mountain bearing down on him had been moved. No angel could control him anymore. After more than a thousand years of holy war, his reputation as the God of War in Heaven wasn't the only thing passed down through the three realms. His countless romantic entanglements were famous too.
Michael didn't care.
Michael couldn't be bothered.
Official partner Metatron, new flame Raphael, ambiguous love interest Messiah.
The harem of Heaven.
Elf King Atleidis, sea demon Jonathan, mermaid princess Elena.
The harem of the mortal realm.
As for Hell, relations between the two realms had been tense since the holy war, so Michael hadn't extended his harem there yet.
After an accident, the Demon King Lucifer was struck by the Abyss of the Bottomless Pit. His body and power regressed, turning him into a five- or six-year-old child.
Worse still, the unconscious Lucifer was thrown into the Jordan River by the Bottomless Pit. He drifted through the seven layers of Hell with the current, all the way into the mortal realm.
One quiet, dark night, while Michael was having a tryst with Atleidis in the sacred land of the elves, he found a little fallen angel.
Moved by a moment of compassion, Michael brought the little angel back to Heaven and secretly went into full-time dad mode.
He fed him in the morning and bathed him at night, holding him while he worked and cuddling him while he slept. The little angel grew more and more attached to him, wishing he could cling to him every day.
But as Michael held him more and more, the little fallen angel grew into a big one. The more Michael looked, the more something seemed... off.
What the hell? This was his former superior and current sworn enemy himself!
After being struck by the Abyss of the Bottomless Pit, Lucifer opened his eyes and saw his treacherous, disloyal former adjutant.
His crimson hair fell in waves, spreading like a vast sea of dancing flames. The reflection of a red lotus of hellfire appeared on the cobalt-blue glacier.
For the first time, Lucifer realized that the Archangel of Fire, who was either respectfully deferential or coldly indifferent toward him, could also be so gentle.
[Bonus Scene]
Michael left Lucifer in the care of the angelic servants in his palace. Lucifer cried. From then on, Lucifer held a permanent place in Michael's bed.
Michael went out for a midnight rendezvous with a lover. Lucifer cried, and Michael had no choice but to abandon his plans with Raphael.
Michael realized that the little angel he'd picked up was really much too prone to crying:
If Michael didn't hold him, he cried.
If he couldn't see Michael for a little while, he cried.
If Michael went on a date instead of playing with him, he cried.
If Michael came back from a date with a hickey on his neck, he cried.
If he couldn't marry Michael...
He cried too.
Michael: ???
#The little darling I raised wants to marry me#
#The problem is, he's still my mortal enemy#
