Look across the history of Hell, and you'll see that the imbalance between men and women is shockingly severe.
The gender ratio is skewed. The fallen angels are all men, while female demons are nearly a rare species, the sort you could put on display in a shop window.
And women powerful enough to make the "Famous Figures of Hell" list, win the support of countless demons, and have their names celebrated through the ages are few and far between. There are two.
Lilith, the Witch of the Night.
Carola, the Rose of the Abyss.
Adam's ex-wife, Lucifer's current wife, and the leader of the witches, Lilith's name rings through Hell, and her status rivals that of the Seven Deadly Sins.
Carola, the mysterious witch whose origins and identity are unknown, has always been a name without a face. Yet she rose to fame in Hell with astonishing speed, won the "Rodoga Century's Gold Medal Writer" award several times in a row, and claimed the throne of the web-novel world under the pen name "Rose of the Abyss." Countless demons and fallen angels love to talk about her.
After all, compared with Lilith, who spends her time among the upper nobility of Hell, Carola's reputation echoes across all seven circles of Hell, even though no one has ever seen her in person. She is a great figure who, all by herself, enriches the spiritual lives of Hell's residents and helps its culture flourish.
Mammon has been the "Rose of the Abyss's" publishing partner for years, making an absolute fortune publishing her novels, so much that even the embodiment of greed would feel embarrassed.
So, after careful consideration, and barely containing his impatience, Mammon decided to meet with the "Rose of the Abyss" and offer her better pay.
"Your Highness Mammon, a pleasure to meet you."
The witch with dark red hair smiled seductively. Her gorgeous face was like a red rose by the Jordan River, forever in bloom, weaving a tangled web of desire.
If fate brought them together, then their lives were destined to be entwined until death.
Michael, deeply in debt in Heaven, ran off to Hell, disguised himself as a woman, and took a part-time job sharing his tumultuous romantic experiences with demons who usually cared about pleasure, not feelings.
As gold coins poured in, he effortlessly captured the admiration of a host of handsome men and beautiful women.
But you can only walk by the river so many times before you get wet.
As luck would have it, he got involved with two people he really shouldn't have crossed.
At last, bound hand and foot and thrown onto the bed in the Hall of Ten Thousand Demons, Michael, who had become a legend for his wild ways in Hell, finally regretted it.
The Devil King stood beside the bed, smiling with love and madness.
[Extra Scene]
One day, in the city of Rodoga, the capital of Hell, an interview is being held by a small entertainment paper.
Demon Host: Miss Carola, a pleasure to meet you. May I ask you a few questions?
Carola (Michael): A pleasure (smiling faintly). Go ahead.
Demon Host (looking over his notes): Everyone has always been curious about what you look like. They say you've never taken off your mask in front of any of your lovers. Is that true?
Carola (Michael): Mm... I just didn't think it was necessary.
Demon Host: So no demon in Hell has ever seen your real face?
Carola (Michael): That's not quite true. His Highness Mammon and His Majesty Lucifer have both seen it.
Demon Host (perking up, growing excited): Oh?! Could you tell us how that happened?
Carola (Michael): Well, Mammon paid me three hundred thousand Hell gold coins, so I showed him.
Demon Host: ...And His Majesty Lucifer?
Carola (Michael): That was... (calmly) I couldn't beat him.
Demon Host: ???
Carola (Michael): So he just ripped off my mask.
