Lin's second relationship ended in another sudden, brutal breakup, and his ex even swiped the many silver accessories he wore to show off his Yabi identity. Sure, they were cheap little things from Pinduoduo, three yuan for ten, but it's really hard to find accessories that cheap and don't tarnish!

After two relationships, Lin had gone from straight to gay, lost his precious virginity, and lost a whole lot of silver accessories that didn't tarnish.

Deeply shaken, he decided to close off his heart, ditch his chuunibyou side and his hopeless romantic streak, and become an ordinary wage slave who cared about nothing but money.

Except...

One perfectly ordinary afternoon, Lin, now a wage slave who was getting the hang of WAP, encountered a supernatural phenomenon.

A high school boy who claimed to be a hero latched onto him and bluntly declared that Lin was his "princess."

Lin, now a burned-out office worker, stared back with dead fish eyes.

Ever since he was little, Lin has always had the same lucid dream.

In the dream, he is a demon king living atop a tall tower, happily sharing his life with his loyal dragon underling and all-purpose demon butler, until an evil hero and a perverted princess come knocking...
