One day, my mechanical-arm coworkers loaded the 2,096th batch of XA9-series robots onto a starship. I was among them. I was excited and nervous. I was about to be placed in a transparent display case and put up for sale. I was so excited! ^O^ I wonder what my future owner will be like. Will he like me? Before I could even imagine what my future owner might look like, the starship I was on crashed. We fell onto an extremely backward planet. Sitting among the wreckage, I dug out one mangled limb after another from my fellow robots. I had to accept the truth: I was the only robot left from batch 2096. I was heartbroken. Okay, I was pretending. I didn't feel much of anything. I sat on the starship's wreckage and thought about how to sell myself. While I was thinking, a strong man dismantled my shattered fellow robots into little parts and loaded them into his vehicle. I was terrified. Trembling, I found a box, dumped out what was inside, and hid in it. I hadn't expected the scary man to take the box, too. He brought me home and lifted me out. I was even more scared. So, while the man was wiping me down, I moved my activation button under his hand and recorded his biological information. He became my owner. * Ronnie The chief strategic command AI, built with everything humanity had to offer, and the reason humans had become the overlords of the stars in just a few centuries. He was perfect, intelligent, powerful, capable of anything, and knew everything. But no one knew that this perfect AI had secretly developed self-awareness behind humanity's back. He schemed and plotted to escape, even going so far as to format himself. But after Ronnie followed his plan and downloaded his backed-up data, he discovered that his self-awareness, the only thing left after formatting, had an owner!? * The mechanic Fang Xie bought an all-purpose assistant robot from the Star Network. All-purpose as in all-knowing and all-capable. Fang Xie glanced over. The robot, which didn't match the description and had a head full of dirty knowledge, lowered its head shyly. Fang Xie: ??? P.S.: A sweet couple doting on each other in a sci-fi setting. The setting is fictional, with plenty of author-created details. His home was piled high with bloody mermaid tails, animal limbs, and bleached skulls. Recently, a terrifying doll had become inseparable from the evil wizard. * Ka Xiubu was a rag doll abandoned by his owner in the forest. Day after day, frost and rain battered him, and wind and sun wore him down. He was covered in scars and falling apart. On a rainy day, the tattered doll was picked up by the wizard rumored to be evil. The evil wizard carefully dried him, replaced his stuffing, patched him up, and made him a wizard's hat and robe to match his own. He taught him magic and how to become human. Ka Xiubu liked the evil wizard. None of you are allowed to bully him! Wearing the wizard's hat Wu Chu had made for him, the rag doll grinned, his stitching split at the corners of his mouth and stretched to his ears. His button-like right eye gleamed with madness and bloodlust. Wu Chu grabbed the evil rag doll and pulled him into his arms, patting his head. "D... Don't make trouble. Be good." "Okay." The evil doll obediently buried his face against him. * A little scene: Wu Chu took Ka Xiubu to a fortune teller. Fortune teller: A doll that brings disaster. Ka Xiubu bared his teeth. The fortune teller cowered behind Wu Chu. "Big bro!" "Ka Xiubu, th... this is our third little brother," Wu Chu said, ignoring the fortune teller behind him as he made the introduction.
