After I Raised Fish the Conan Way, My Boss Begged Me to Kiss Him

[⚠️ Please read the content warnings below carefully. If you get caught off guard because you didn't read them, don't blame me. Check out my upcoming novel, Armed Matchmaker Kurozawa Gin. The blurb is below. Feel free to add it to your library~] The Academy of Fish Farming Simulator is a highly interactive fish-raising game. Players take on the role of a fishpond owner who died suddenly and was reborn in a hurry. Starting from zero, they raise fish, build an elite team of fishy police officers, and eventually bring the black-clad fishmonger organization to justice! Kusuo: So, what do you think? This game can help ease your condition where you die if you don't have fish to raise, and it suits your predicament of having your work brutally rejected because Green River won't let you write a protagonist on the black side. Pretty good, right? Kuroba Shinmei: Sure, but why is the little black fish I drew a ●, and not even the right model? Kusuo: It's a genuine golden-scaled, black-skinned koi. Just raise it until it grows up. Kuroba Shinmei: Uh, can a little black fish who's still in middle school really be a detective…? Kusuo: That's how things are on their set. Just raise it until it grows up. Kuroba Shinmei: I fed him fish food, and he turned around and cooked me four dishes and a soup? Kusuo: A new skill: flipping a wok with his fin. All fish will repay you once they're grown. Kuroba Shinmei: Got it! But why, after I maxed out their affection, did I get surrounded by all sorts of men with catlike eyes, sunglasses, black hair, silver hair, and so on, the moment I left school and walked around? They all demanded my email address! And why does Mr. Amuro, who's sitting on my lap taking off his clothes and telling the silver-haired man with straight hair that I'm his secret lover, look so much like the Zero I raised? Haha, it couldn't be that the little black fish came to repay me, could it~ * Furuya Rei has a secret. Ever since he was little, he knew a ghost was following him, easing his pain and placing every beautiful thing in the world in his hands. But the ghost used up all its strength saving its companions, then vanished from his life forever. After years of drifting through life in a daze, he happened upon a young man who resembled the ghost. Furuya Rei sighed at the cruel twists of fate and shielded the young man, who had stumbled upon a deal, behind him. He spun a lie about the young man being his lover to the silver-haired assassin. He never expected that, with just one sentence, the young man would find himself surrounded by a pack of wolves. Testing, recruiting, tripping him up. The onlookers were ruthless. Driven by a fierce desire to protect, Furuya Rei defeated the petty schemers and eventually saw through the truth. He let his love grow, just as he was about to reveal his identity and reunite with him Kuroba Shinmei: But I have to see my boss tomorrow. We really can't sleep together tonight. Furuya, planning to confess at midnight: Damn that boss! The next day, in the Zero Division office ↓ Furuya: ...So my boss is me! Bonus scene: Shinmei: Why are there so many fish around me coming to repay me? Kusuo: Where are you? I'll have your cousin come get you out of the Spider's Lair :) Kaito Kid: What! I'm going to fight a school of fish… Is this for real?! [Reading Notes] ① Male lead is the pursuer, pairing is Rei and Rei. A sunny, naturally oblivious younger man with maxed-out dull sensitivity x a serious, upright, many-sided older man. Later it turns into a subordinate-versus-boss power reversal. ② Note: The worldline where the fish are raised is an alternate black-side Rei route, but because the protagonist pulls too many wild stunts, it eventually turns into a red-side Rei route. The fish raising at the beginning is a second playthrough. ③ The red side is saved. It combines child-rearing with a fake love-rival melee. It's a funny, surreal story, and the organization is the biggest victim. If you dislike my interpretation of the characters, please x out. Don't get hung up on the logic. Later on there are a few scenes that almost become public displays, because Shinmei thinks this is still a game world and has no idea it's reality. In his eyes, other than his own fish, all the rest are background NPC fish. I've warned about this several times, so please don't read to the end and then complain about the warnings, okay? Okay 😰 ③ The main setting is Detective Conan, with Magic Kaito and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. as crossovers. Please add it to your library~ (grabs your pant leg) Blurb for the next novel The instant he was bound to the Mad Villain System, Gin transmigrated. Good news: The new world is a dramatic showdown between the red and black sides. The career-minded are thrilled. Bad news: His old System retired on the spot, and the new one is called the Love Security Guard System. System: That's right, our mission is to bring two people secretly in love with each other together and preserve their beautiful bromance! Host, please claim Cupid's arrow… Wait, why can't you use our items? Help! What kind of matchmaker maxes out the critical-hit rate and comes with an arsenal? Professional hitman Gin: ...You're so noisy. (Cocks gun without mercy.) ■ Later, the members of the liquor factory realized that their top killer was acting strange: During a mission, colleagues Scotland and Bourbon accidentally brushed their pinkies together. Gin: Hmph. They have feelings for each other. Passing by a Ferris wheel, two cops who'd just finished disarming a bomb passionately embraced after surviving a close call. Gin: Mm. It was only a matter of time. A long-haired man refused compensation after being hit by a Porsche, then turned around and joined the organization. Gin: Hmph. He's playing hard to get. This gun-toting Doraemon Gin, who could whip out weapons at any moment, held a Beretta in his left hand and a red string in his right. Within four years, he dominated the global matchmaking market and even founded the Love Security Guard Corporation. Though the company attracted the FBI's covetous attention, took on the CIA as an investor, and was infiltrated by Japanese Public Security until it was full of holes, eventually becoming an international center for undercover agents to find new jobs, Gin chose to turn a blind eye, for the sake of Scotland and Bourbon's amazing cooking Until he discovered that these people had layered eight hundred filters over him. Scotland: I don't believe you're genuinely risking your life for the organization. Bourbon: He's a living legacy, snow that died on red soil. A certain long-haired man: It must have taken a lot of effort to get your hair back into this condition after what happened. Faced with one script after another, including The Undercover Savior, The Black Side's White Moonlight, and The Liquor Factory's Thornbird, the security guard in question, Mr. G, hefted a rocket launcher and declared with a cold laugh ↓ Don't believe rumors or spread them. He's just a security guard eager to go home. [Reading Notes] Also known as Love Security Guard Kurozawa Gin and That Security Guard Just Wants to Go Home ① Scotland's widow is playing the piano. The misunderstanding is platonic. The liquor factory's beautiful legend is worth pining over. ② There is no pairing. If any descriptions seem to be heading in that direction, that's simply because the author hasn't been good for long enough. It's not their fault. ③ Lots of headcanons, messy timeline. Please add it to your library~ Theme: Try to bring those in the darkness into the light
