After being stabbed in the head by his direct subordinate, Demon King Prata was reborn.

He learned that the world he lived in was a cliched novel about a hero defeating the demon king, and that his subordinate Schwarz was the novel's protagonist, the strongest hero.

After killing him, Schwarz would travel alongside a procession of flowers and beauties, join forces with the pro-Heaven faction of the demon realm, and take the throne as Demon King. He'd turn Prata's demon realm into a second heaven and even paint the black cat Prata kept in his greenhouse white!

Cat-loving, black-obsessed mage Prata flew into a rage. He invented an illegitimate-son identity for himself and decided to get down to the grassroots level to set the demon realm straight, while looking for a chance to stab the hero. But this time, the hero gave up trying to sneak into the demon realm by provoking low-ranking demons and instead started signaling his interest during a lavish demon feast.

Prata: Hah. No shame at all.

He coldly rejected him, but kept inviting him back, and casually let slip that the Demon King was emotionally abusing him. The other man responded by taking the initiative and kissing him.

He brought the man to his territory. That night, he saw the man with his head nestled against his waist, demonic wings unfurled and decadent patterns spreading across his abdomen.

On the day of his thirtieth birthday, Schwarz was cursed.

The curse forced his species to change at random, with a side effect each time. Today, he's a vampire who goes mad without blood. Tomorrow, he's an incubus who can't walk without sex. The day after that, he's a werewolf who can't stop grinding his teeth in the middle of the night. And the day after... who knows? Whatever it is, it's not human.

After learning that only the Demon King could break the curse, white-obsessed Schwarz decided to venture deep into the dark demon realm he hated. At the demon feast, he met a silver-haired man and discovered that the man could suppress the curse. As it happened, the man was the Demon King's illegitimate son.

So Schwarz changed his approach to infiltrating the realm. He would use the illegitimate son to find out about the Demon King and persuade him to help paint the demon realm white. But Schwarz got more and more invested, and found himself increasingly unable to stand the Demon King, who was always emotionally abusing the man.

Schwarz: I need to find a way to pry my poor secret crush away from the Demon King. But why does Prata keep calling him the strongest hero?
