The Honmaru Revolves Around the Cat

[Unrestricted reader comments are now open] A god born from the concept of “consumption” turns out to be a black cat?! The little cat god, beloved and blessed by the gods, sets off on a journey. Halfway along the way, a strange yellow-and-white fox jumped out: “Great one, you possess powerful spiritual energy. Would you be willing to sign a contract with the Temporal Government and become a sani, huh? A cat?!” And so the cat acquired many Honmaru and many two-legged creatures who love cats. In short, it’s a slice-of-life story about a little cat saving dark Honmaru. Reader’s guide: 1. The cat will always be a cat. It won’t turn into a human, has no gender, and thinks it’s a black hole with a great appetite. 2. A god of the concept of consumption, strong, very strong. As long as something “exists,” the cat can chomp on it. 3. The cat has no name, so it’s called Meow Meow. (This name is also recorded in “Little Kitty Meow Meow Meow” and “Puppy Chup Chup Chup.”) 4. An everyday story mainly about pawing at the sword spirits. There may be some angst along the way, but it has a happy ending. The cat will learn to speak later on; at first, all it can do is meow with perfect diction. 5. Some chapters will have lots of sword-spirit perspectives and only a little cat content. 6. Fan works may be out of character. Sorry if this isn’t to your taste, and I hope you find something you like better. Please don’t yell at the cat or the sword spirits. You can criticize my writing, and I’ll quietly slink away. Theme: Never give up hope.
