Blade Blade Blade, My Blade, Blade Blade Blade

Kazehaya Yura has two Honmaru.

One is a powerful Honmaru that his suddenly reappearing mother passed down to him.

The other is a beginner Honmaru that he personally built up during his first month on the job.

Both think they are the only ones with a Saniwa.

A senior once told him, "Tsukumogami are possessive creatures."

Kazehaya Yura took that lesson to heart.

Fortunately, the powerful Honmaru runs itself. It only needs a Saniwa to provide spiritual energy, so it doesn't take much effort.

Meanwhile, the swords in the beginner Honmaru are clingy and innocent, still so young and inexperienced that they can't stand to be apart from him for even a moment.

So Kazehaya Yura soon shifted his focus to his own (not really) Honmaru, sneaking over to the powerful one only at night to let them know he was still alive.

The powerful swords, realizing their master was missing: ?

What's more, the powerful Honmaru has an impressive record. Its name appears on the bonus list every time, so Kazehaya Yura and Kitsunezuka nervously conceal the relevant information.

Kazehaya Yura, clenching his fist: "They absolutely mustn't find out!"

He thought things would stay peaceful like this, but then...

It was a sunny day at the training grounds.

After winning a match with his beginner Honmaru, Kazehaya Yura was busy praising his swords as usual when he turned and saw the powerful Honmaru staring at him from across the field...

The Saniwa braced himself for the worst with his eyes closed.

The Saniwa was shocked. The Saniwa couldn't understand. How could max-level swords be at the training grounds?

Looking at that familiar face, the powerful sword spirits finally understood why their Saniwa was gone for all but half an hour of every day.

Their hands slowly tightened around their blades.

Reader's Notes:

1. Lots of personal headcanons. OOC warning.

2. Bottom protagonist, all pairings.

3. Includes a reversal chase element, as well as the element of a beloved's likeness and their child (highlighted).

4. No stand-ins, no stand-ins, no stand-ins. A stand-in disrespects both Xiao You and his mother.

5. The comments on the first 20 chapters contain spoilers and discussions of some settings. If you can keep reading and don't want to be influenced, it's best not to read the comments. (Not mandatory.)

6. Don't force yourself to keep reading if it's not for you. My writing and IQ are limited and won't suddenly improve. If you drop the story, there's no need to leave a comment telling me.
