The fog showed no sign of lifting, and he was about to be hit with an overdue rental and double the fee. For safety’s sake, Chen Su could only stay put. On the fifth day, the fog finally cleared. Chen Su drove back to the rental agency, only to find the place deserted. Even the metal road signs were covered in rust. Chen Su: ??? Was this some kind of upgraded deserted-island version of the legend where someone spends seven days in the mountains, only to find a thousand years have passed in the outside world?!!! There was no signal or boat on the empty island. After gathering enough supplies, Chen Su decided to take Highway 1 in the battered old RV he’d rented and look for signs of human life. In the overwhelming solitude and freedom, just as Chen Su began to think he was the only person on the whole island, his search around the island began to take an unexpected turn... He casually remarked on how brilliantly the flowers bloomed on the island, and the next day found a bunch of fresh wildflowers, still beaded with dew, on his windowsill. He craved grilled fish from back home, and after a nap, found two plump sea fish hanging from his door handle. He was afraid he’d die of loneliness on the island. That night, a snoring polar bear showed up outside the RV, slept beside him, and became his little shadow. Even his RV began to change, becoming more luxurious and advanced, fulfilling his every need. Chen Su thought that all these changes must have come from another life watching over him, like a genie in a magic lamp granting the small wishes of his lonely journey. Until one day, he found the genie watching him... It was the RV he’d rented, now overdue and turned into a spirit. With tanned skin and powerful muscles, he was as rugged as a life born of the passionate earth. He had the face of a top male model, yet he would pick dew-kissed flowers for Chen Su, follow him around picking up his clothes, let him rest his feet against his abs, and lick his lips as he asked whether he could spend the night inside... After the Doomsday, everything in the world mutated. On an island forgotten by time, RV No. 11 mutated. It not only gained consciousness, but also set his sights on the tiny human living inside him. He wanted to raise this human. He wanted to make the other’s life more comfortable. So the mutated RV man built an Eden on the island, all so the human he loved could live freely. Long after, the old, beat-up RV evolved into a luxurious three-story motorhome. Wrapped in a blanket, Chen Su lay on the third-floor terrace, his wrists mottled with kiss marks. He felt the breeze, watched the sunrise over Iceland, and sipped coffee as he teased the polar bear below, utterly at ease. Behind him, Chen Yi stood bare-chested, carefully massaging his pretty darling’s waist and legs.
