After Being Desired by a Dark and Possessive Emperor

# Coming soon: My Dead Ex-Husband Is the Emperor. Blurb at the bottom.

[An obsessive, possessive, gloomy ghost of an emperor × a gentle, beautiful woman with amnesia who unknowingly knows how to train a man]

Wen Miao is injured and loses her memory.

A maid tells her that she was born into a distinguished family and returned to the capital a few months ago after her husband's death.

Although she is a widow, Wen Miao meets a handsome and devoted man in the capital: the current emperor.

The emperor, who rules the world, promises her the empress's throne. He personally adorns her hair with flowers, ties it up for her, leads her horse, and shields her from the sun. He grants her every wish and treats her with loving devotion.

Wen Miao is the only woman in the imperial harem, and her days are peaceful and comfortable.

But after they marry, the emperor proves a little too clingy and gloomy 💛

By day, he insists on holding her close as he reads memorials, nuzzling her cheek. At night, he demands her without restraint, almost crushing her against his chest until Wen Miao's eyes brim with tears.

Amid this almost frightening love, Wen Miao unexpectedly discovers a pure white wedding dress hidden inside the Forbidden Palace.

At last, she remembers that before she transmigrated into this era, she was holding her wedding in a church...

Since he was young, Emperor Qianyuan has often dreamed of a goddess living deep within a place of divine wonder, at ease and beyond compare.

From then on, he kept a painting locked away in his study. From the Cold Palace to the imperial court, it held all his obsessive fantasies, and the goddess from his dreams accompanied him as he went from a neglected prince to the throne.

Only after Emperor Qianyuan had secured his throne and brought peace to the land did his ministers submit memorials, urging their ruler to fill the harem and secure heirs.

The emperor who ruled the world longed for a trace of the goddess, but that very night, he failed to dream of her. Years passed before they met again.

Then one day, he saw the goddess in his dream dressed all in white, just about to turn and marry someone else.

That night, the emperor awoke in a rage, his eyes bloodshot, and sat in silence until dawn.

At the winter solstice that same year, the royal family went hunting.

Riding his horse with his bow drawn, Emperor Qianyuan saw the goddess in white, unconscious in the snow and ice.

She had lost her memory.

The young emperor lowered his eyes, a smile on his lips.

His chance had come.

Chu Qingyi has lived in Jinling for a long time and married a hunter.

Her husband treats her wonderfully after they marry, putting her first in everything. They live a safe and contented life.

Chu Qingyi thinks things will always stay that way.

But in their second year of marriage, her husband falls into a deep mountain ravine. His body is never found, dead or alive.

Three years into her widowhood, a noble from the capital comes to find Chu Qingyi. She learns that she is actually a blood relative of the Duke's household, left behind in the outside world.

She is brought back to the capital as a widow, in an awkward position, and plans only to stay away from conflict and live quietly.

But at a palace banquet, Chu Qingyi sees her supposedly dead ex-husband dressed in imperial robes, his beaded crown gently swaying. He is none other than the current emperor, Emperor Chenyuan.

*

Emperor Chenyuan often dreams of a woman who smiles charmingly, kisses his lips, cuddles in his arms, tugs his ear and calls him a lecher, and tearfully calls him “husband,” begging him to be gentle and slow.

Whenever he wakes, Emperor Chenyuan thinks the woman is shameless and wanton. Why can't he stop thinking about her?

Until the day of the palace banquet, when he sees the beautiful widow newly brought back by the Duke's household.

She is exactly like the woman in his dreams who bites his lips.

The emperor who rules an empire thinks, perhaps if he has her, he will finally stop longing for her.

Later

In the dim imperial study, Chu Qingyi's wrists are bound, and she cannot move.

The emperor leisurely removes her hairpin, letting her dark hair fall loose as he kisses her raised, snowy neck.

Listening to the beautiful woman in his arms trembling and sobbing, he asks in a low, hoarse voice:

“My lady, did your late husband ever kiss you in these places?”
