Pairing: Aventurine
The ongoing story "Mistaking My Pen Pal for My Dragon" has the pairing Neuvillette. Interested readers are welcome to bookmark it.
Aurora's health had recently taken a turn for the worse, and she was always falling asleep.
In her dream, the sky was covered in dark clouds, and rain was on its way. Cheers in the distance mingled with the cries of a newborn.
"Three-Eyed Mother Goddess, if you can hear me, please open your eyes and look upon this child..."
She turned to look, just as the baby in the swaddling cloth opened its eyes.
They were beautiful violet-blue eyes with ring-shaped pupils, as if they could draw her in.
The dream faded, and words from the real world sounded beside her ear.
"Miss Aurora, these are the new slaves Mr. Falx sent over."
She had meant to refuse, but suddenly her eyes flew wide open.
Among the new slaves was someone with the same eyes as the baby in her dream.
*
After bidding farewell to the young Kakavasha in her dream, Aurora lost the ability to dream.
Wanting to understand what it all meant, she faced the slave numbered "35," brought before her with shackles on his hands and feet.
"...Kakavasha."
But the boy merely looked up. "Sorry, I don't know you."
He hadn't denied that name. Aurora was delighted, and hoped the promise she had made in her dream to protect him would come true.
Beneath the midsummer stars, in a secluded summer estate, two hearts slowly drew closer.
In a flower field brushed by the breeze, Aurora, wearing a flower crown, pressed a kiss to the slave number on Kakavasha's neck.
"I, Aurora, want to become Kakavasha's wife. We'll leave this place together and never be apart."
In the end, the slave owner Falx discovered their feelings. Using Kakavasha's life in the gladiatorial arena as leverage, he forced Aurora to put on a wedding dress.
Blood stained the white roses in the church and her wedding dress. In Kakavasha's bloodied arms, Aurora slowly closed her eyes.
"Remember to eat well..."
Those were the last words she left Kakavasha.
*
A woman lay asleep on a bed made of ebony, poppies blooming around her.
"You had a dream, Aurora Morpheus."
Propping her face up with one hand, the woman on the bed looked listless.
"...I don't recall having any dreams. You must be mistaken, Dreammaster."
Penacony had been bustling lately, and she didn't want to miss out. But the moment she stepped beyond the area designated by her family, she had the bad luck to get caught up in a case.
When Dr. Ratio brought her before a blond fellow dressed like a peacock, whose eyes were exceptionally beautiful, he said,
"Let's make a bet. Guess which of my hands is hiding the chips."
Aurora rolled her eyes and turned to leave.
But the next second, she stopped, pulled an unfamiliar turquoise meteorite ornament from her pocket, and heard a voice behind her.
"You've left me twice before. This time, I'll wager with you..."
"...on whether you'll leave me a third time."
Reading Guide:
1. Pairing: Aventurine. One-on-one, happy ending, with an old-school feel. A story of mutual salvation. Everything about the slave period is my own invention. This story has a complete outline.
2. Every setting serves the romance. Kakavasha only begins to develop romantic feelings gradually after becoming a slave. There is no romance in any of the childhood scenes.
3. Any out-of-character writing is my fault, but I want to make it clear in advance that I absolutely do not mean to insult any original characters. The characters' ages will differ slightly from the game for the sake of the romance and other considerations. The story follows the game's version 2.1. If later plot developments turn out to be very different, I won't take them into account.
4. This story is based on Honkai: Star Rail, but will be mostly original. The slave-era setting takes inspiration from ancient Rome, mainly the slaves being toyed with and made to fight. Everything is my own invention.
5. Please forgive the writing. The author will keep working to improve.
---- A preview of my next upcoming story: the Sesshomaru fanfic "I Tried to Woo Sesshomaru, but He Heard My Thoughts" -----
Blurb:
Yuri, who grew up at Shizukawa Shrine, had always been mistaken for a boy.
One day, she met a snow-white Shiba Inu with a crescent mark on its forehead.
-
Sesshomaru encountered a strange illusion.
In it, he met a foolish and naive human.
He tried to kill the human and break the illusion, but suddenly heard a strange voice.
Human: It looks so big. Is this little bit really enough?
Human: Better give it all to him, so he doesn't starve to death.
Human: This dog looks dangerous. I'll feed it and send it on its way as soon as possible.
"..."
Only then did Sesshomaru realize that the human before him hadn't spoken.
He had heard her thoughts.
*
After the Shiba Inu disappeared, Shizukawa Yuri passed by Higurashi Shrine, where a flash of white caught her attention.
She chased after it, and after the world spun around her, she fell into a huge pit.
A bell rang wildly, followed by a clear, ethereal voice:
"You have activated the Romance System. Please select your target."
Yuri looked up. Sure enough, at the edge of the pit was a fluffy white... big dog.
"Little White?"
"Target successfully bound. Please begin the first stage of the mission, "
Yuri finally realized what she had just done. What is this thing?!
The great demon who had heard that familiar voice in his mind shot her a fierce glance, paused briefly, then snatched her away with his tail.
*
After picking up a white Shiba Inu, Shizukawa Yuri picked up a white great demon, too.
She even got bound to a Romance System in the Warring States period.
This is insane!
Sesshomaru glanced at her coldly. This human was just as foolish as ever, daring to insult him in her thoughts.
"Please pay attention to your romance value. It is about to turn negative."
...To survive in this chaotic age, Yuri had no choice but to follow the System's instructions and cling to the great demon for protection.
Sesshomaru was sick to death of her rambling thoughts.
A tiny, feeble human dared to imagine that he would protect her.
He watched coldly, curious to see what Yuri would do.
But Yuri did nothing. She went straight into the woods to find food for herself.
In the end, wanting to learn the secret behind Yuri, he took her along on his journey.
Wooing a great demon was almost impossible.
Because Sesshomaru always seemed to know what she was thinking.
At first, it was fine. Later, she became afraid he would discover her private thoughts.
"Private thoughts."
Here we go again... Yuri shook her head. "No, don't make things up."
She would never admit that she liked his face.
Hearing her thoughts, Sesshomaru grew even colder. "So that's all it is."
Yuri: ...Help! Someone, please save me!
Sesshomaru extended a claw and looked at her. "Who do you want to save you?"
*
Yuri wanted to return to the modern era.
But her romance value was stuck at 99%, so she couldn't pass through the Bone-Eater's Well.
Not a day went by that she forgot her goal of going home.
Even though she liked the great demon beside her.
The great demon's face was cold, but his embrace was very warm.
Yuri loved being held close between Sesshomaru's body and his fluffy tail while they shared intimate moments.
Kagome appeared after three years, and this time Yuri had a choice.
Reading Guide:
Pairing: Sesshomaru. One-on-one, happy ending.
Sesshomaru and Rin are not a couple. Please don't read if you dislike that. I personally just can't stomach them as a romantic pairing. Sorry.
It's been a long time since I last wrote an Inuyasha fanfic, so I'm returning to my old ways. Any out-of-character writing is my fault. Every setting in this story serves the romance. My male and female leads love only each other!
Please don't give me writing advice. I'll keep working to improve.
Theme: Be brave, break through adversity, and challenge the prejudices of others.
Sir Whittaker, good. Placer gold, good Aurora, okay. Farkes, bad I am the master of clear soup!
According to the pioneer, an unknown friend wanted to see the happy thing because she couldn't figure it out in her head.
Placer gold, a shape that everyone has been successful in Aurora Raiders hahahahahaha
Hahahahahahahaha about the intoxicating love
I'm going to tell you the real and fake placer gold——😍😍
The author writes so well. The first half of the story of the young couple was so bitter, but the second half is so sweet. It's great??? The ending is also perfect, everyone is very happy!!
I feel like the character of Aurora in reality is different from her character in the dream. Could it be due to the environment?
Wuhu, let us shout "after marriage, after marriage, after marriage"!
Home run! Home run! Please! Come on Kakawasha!
[Spreading Flowers] It's so sweet. The young couple should stay happy forever.
