Cero was always using that line to scare Zeta into studying hard. Then, on a pleasant, sunny day, he ran out of energy and fell to Earth.

This time, he didn't meet Renny. He met a match girl.

Seeing the girl freezing in the heavy snow, Cero took human form and went over to ask if she was all right. He even gave her a little yen he'd swiped from Renny earlier.

The girl was so moved that she gave him a match.

Cero took it, said there was no need, and turned to leave.

Suddenly, his body felt light. He collapsed to the ground, and just before passing out, he saw the girl's sly smile.

Cero flailed his rabbit paws. "You! Turn me back and undo the contract!"

Akane: "How dare you say that? Look at me! I became a familiar! I'm the one who wants to die! Your young lady has never suffered such humiliation!"

"A familiar? What's that?" The rabbit Cero tilted his head and studied the girl in front of him, whose looks were cool and aloof but whose personality was all over the place.

Akane: "Have you seen Puella Magi Madoka Magica?"

The rabbit Cero crossed his little paws and looked proud. "I know about it. Zeta's been into stuff from Earth lately. I even tried to scare him into studying. But what does that have to do with us?"

Akane: "Basically, I became Kyubey and you became Madoka. We have to trick people together. We can only transfer the contract and separate if we manage to trick someone else."

Cero: "Goodbye... I'm going back to the Land of Light!"

Akane grabbed the rabbit by the scruff as he tried to run. "What Land of Light? Do you think you're an Ultraman or something?"

Cero: "I am an Ultraman! Ultraman Zero!"

Akane burst out laughing. "Zero? Then I'm Seven. From today on, you, Moroboshi Shin, are my bodyguard and pet. Until the contract is broken and you give my power back, you're stuck with me!"

During a monster invasion, Cero finally regained his power and was able to return to his original form.

Akane: "...Ultraman Zero?"

Cero turned around and looked at her with his arms crossed.

Akane gave him an awkward smile and turned to slip away, but he caught her the next second.

"Where do you think you're going, little liar?"

Akane protested. "What do you mean, little liar? You're the one who lied to me! Why didn't you tell me sooner that you were Ultraman Zero?"

Cero was so stunned by the young lady's way of thinking that he froze for a moment.

She said goodbye and tried to run again. Cero scooped her up and headed home. "What's the rush? The contract's still in place. Come on, young lady, let's go trick some more people."

Akane was furious. "Trick who? I've been with you all this time and we haven't tricked a single person! At this rate, we won't break the contract even in our next life."

Cero smiled. "It's not impossible, you know."
