After Hearing the Ultraman Warrior's Inner Thoughts, Is Someone Secretly in Love with Me?

I'm just an ordinary female Ultra at the School of the Land of Light. One day in class, countless inexplicable voices suddenly started echoing in my head.

Well, would you look at that. I can hear everyone's thoughts in the Land of Light.

But the voices are so noisy, and there's no variation in their tone, so I can't tell whose thoughts I'm hearing.

Just as I was about to listen closely for some gossip, a voice suddenly rang out.

"When is this girl finally going to realize I like her?"

Who? Whose thoughts are those?

I'm stunned. Well, would you look at that, someone has a crush on me?

Just as I was about to listen closely again, the voice suddenly vanished.

Everything went quiet.

"..."

Seriously? You let me hear that someone likes me but won't tell me who it is? What a scam!

Oh well, maybe I heard wrong. Or maybe it was someone's prank.

I couldn't be bothered to investigate. I went on with my quiet little life and kept fighting with my nemesis and childhood friend, Zero.

Three days later, I walked into the Ultra School again, and those strange voices suddenly returned.

What the heck? I can hear them again?

"Does she know that I like her?"

It was that same voice confessing its feelings.

I was completely baffled and resolved to find out who it was. But how? I can't hear people's thoughts all the time. There's a cooldown.

After mulling it over, I decided to search one person at a time, tracking down every single person in the Land of Light who's single. Surely I'd find the person with a crush on me eventually!

This isn't a story where the heroine is a universally adored Mary Sue. She's just looking for someone, and her interactions with everyone else are purely platonic. It ends with a one-on-one happy ending.

I don't know how long it'll be, but it will be written in first person.
