My Lover Is Hagi!

[Please read the instructions carefully. Extra scenes will appear in the author's notes, so keep an eye out! Chapter comments are open. Come join in!] Xia Haruno is twenty-two and a shojo manga artist. Her best quality is obvious: [She studies hard and asks questions with an open mind.] (Everyone agrees.) As for her flaws... "Haruno." "I like you." Faced with her childhood friend's sudden confession, Xia Haruno responded with a radiant smile. "I like you best too, Hagi!" Hagiwara, who had just confessed: ...Huh? [She's an idiot.] (Everyone agrees.) * Xia Haruno has fallen in love, but she knows absolutely nothing about real-life romance. No matter, though. She has shojo manga! Life is impossible without shojo manga! And neither is romance! Shojo manga: A kiss should be forceful and sudden! Xia Haruno: Got it. ovo So she went up on tiptoe, grabbed her lover by the collar and pulled him down. Her kiss landed like a butterfly's touch. Xia Haruno looked at his momentarily surprised expression and declared proudly, "That's my talent!" * Hagiwara has fallen in love. His lover has had strange ideas since childhood, and it's impossible to guess what she'll do next. Ever since she became a manga artist, she's been even more unpredictable. But... She's adorable. When she kissed him, he was a little surprised. He really couldn't figure out what she was thinking. She looked so happy. So adorable. But... Hagiwara cupped her cheeks and leaned in close. "Now that's a real kiss~" [Extra scene: Nozaki, also a shojo manga artist: "Going by this setup, you and your boyfriend should go through misunderstandings, cold wars, arguments, a love-rival crisis, and a breakup. Then, with help from your friends, and maybe even your love rival, you'll clear up the misunderstanding, realize your true feelings, and get back together. Happy ending." Sakura: "Nozaki-kun, you can't force everything into a shojo manga!" Xia Haruno: "I see. You're right." Sakura: "Haruno, you can't believe everything people say, either!"] A few things to know: 1. One-on-one pairing, male lead is Hagi. Romantic comedy (silly everyday life), with family and friendship as well as romance! The heroine is an idiot (important), with an unusual way of thinking and a slow reaction time, but she is direct about her feelings. Everyone plays matchmaker! 2. Everyone survives. The story doesn't get involved in the main plot, and it's short and sweet, with lots of personal additions. 3. There will be references to other anime. In short, I want to write a cheerful story!
