Late Night in Beika: Zombies Are on the Loose!

Coming soon: After My Parasitism Failed, I Drew the Attention of Several Detective Conan Characters [Blurb] (This novel will go VIP on 2023.12.22. Chapters 21–36 will be a reverse-VIP section, so if you’ve already read them, you don’t need to buy them again.) In his twenties, Kenji Hagiwara had never encountered a magical girl before. Though this “magical girl” used magic power, so she could probably count as a magical girl. But the most important thing was that she was a girl! And wasn’t being unable to go out in the sun, like a zombie, a bit of a strange setting? That’s not how it was in the cartoons we watched as kids, was it? Well, she really was cute, totally his type. So maybe a zombie boy was fine. But to say that they’d end up together years later? How could that be possible? Wait, no, that’s totally possible! Their personalities, their looks, everything. Little Rio and I are a perfect match, the future police officer thought. In his teens, Aikawa Rio had never before encountered the kind of isekai plot from light novels that would later be everywhere. He thought he could write a book called “About How I Suddenly Got Transported to Another World, Only to Find It Was Actually Modern Japan, Which Was Disappointing, and How the Pervert I Thought I’d Met Turned Out to Be a Police Officer Who Could Absorb My Magic Power and Force Me to Transform in a Way So Awful It Could Destroy the World, But He Was a Nice Guy, So I Decided to Go Out With Him.” Sorry about that ridiculously long sentence (bows). Rest assured, I never actually wrote the book, though we did get together. Of course, children in modern Japan suddenly turning young again is not remotely plausible, and there were also criminals targeting me, Junpei Yoshino, a boy from another world, and the shady white-haired teacher I ran into after suddenly falling into another world again. Wasn’t that a bit too eventful? Aikawa Rio would later reminisce. * Just when Aikawa Rio, having finally destroyed the organization, thought the days ahead would be calm and peaceful, he saw a photo from his youth, a limited-edition school-uniform picture from Ouran Academy that he’d kept treasured. The worst part was that it had fallen into the hands of a shady teacher who was freakishly tall, looked like a pair of chopsticks that had gained human form, and somehow managed to get on his nerves in every way. Everyone, the consequences of this incident are undoubtedly the most serious. [Please note]: (Jujutsu Kaisen will not be merged with the Detective Conan world. It will appear as a side arc in the middle and later parts, and won’t take up much of the story. It’s mainly included to save a few people who shouldn’t have died.) (There will be a cross-dressing plotline, but no main character will spend the story misunderstanding someone’s gender.) [A light, sweet slice-of-life romance. Couple: Hagiwara] [The timeline can’t be pinned down. Everything is a big crossover (hesitantly).] [The protagonist’s concept was inspired by the anime adaptation of the harem light novel Is This a Zombie? It also serves as the story’s backdrop, but is only described briefly, so you don’t need to read the original.] [Mostly Detective Conan, with a tiny bit of Jujutsu Kaisen (and its plot won’t go beyond the Shibuya Incident).] [Any OOC is on me. Feel free to beat me up (offers a little whip).] Theme: The road where past and present converge is the future we share.
