I'm a first-time author, and this work isn't perfect. Everyone has their own tastes, and I still have a lot to learn, so I can't guarantee this book will meet all your expectations. Even if it means going undercover again in that transnational criminal syndicate that calls itself the Crows, whose members use liquor names as codenames! From that day on, Chidao Tsuru fully accepted her fate: dressed in black like the wind, always at her side, and never appearing in public. It's just a Black Organization. Just a liquor distillery. Who knows how much counterfeit liquor they've brewed? Sure enough, the moment Chidao Tsuru saw some of the organization's members, her eyes nearly popped out of her head. Scotch Whiskey: the blue-eyed cat from the police academy, a sniper who seems so gentle and mild... Wait, that's just how he seems! Wait, there's another bottle of whiskey too...? The distillery clearly has no idea how to make whiskey. Rye must be fake liquor too! Great, Shuichi Akai, FBI, get out of my Japan! (Batman has taken over.) And then there's Ms. Rena Mizunashi... Kir, there's something I've wanted to ask for a long time. Do the CIA and FBI ever fight? Which of you gets more funding...? Several years later. Chidao Tsuru has plenty to do. For example... She needs to report to a former superior... She gazes at the distant police badge, weeping bitterly. "Three years, then another three years. When are we going to close the net?!" The organization seems to be getting more and more powerful. What should I do? Chidao Tsuru fell into deep thought. --It's fine, we can still save it! She happily pulled out her Public Security ID. Then she called the boss. "Confess and you'll be treated leniently. Resist and you'll be punished severely! I'm a police officer. You have the right to remain silent, but everything you say can be used as evidence in court!" Renya Karasuma: ??? The mastermind behind the Black Organization: Is this kid... crazy? -- Too many people have already sacrificed themselves in front of her. Chidao Tsuru doesn't think she can stay unmoved. The fireworks seventeen years ago took the life of an undercover police officer forever. Then another great fire swallowed up a sunflower that had struggled out of the darkness. A white-haired girl with gray eyes gazes up at the dazzling stars. A brown-haired boy with honey-colored eyes is captivated by the glow of fireflies. A secret plan fifty years in the making has been unfolding in the shadows, reversing the flow of time and bringing the dead back to life-- The organization is trying to overturn the world. So, what should she choose? A peaceful life? Or an unknown, agonizing path? The oath she swore before the police badge at graduation still echoes in her ears. She must never forget. Choose hope, even if protecting the light means walking alone into darkness. Choose pain, and watch over this world from the shadows as it blooms with warmth. She will become an undercover police officer bearing both pain and hope. But it doesn't matter... The bright moon does not shine on the road to the underworld, and the green mountains do not turn away from old friends. A huge stone monument suddenly rose in the center of the city. Sunlight outlined it with a golden edge, making it gleam brightly. The shadows of the past were finally buried for good. Wherever the sunlight reached, radiance shone. On that day in the future, countless homes will glow with lamplight, and the world will shine forever. -- [Highlight] Content Warnings: 1. The heroine is the police academy's sixth member. This is a serious story that's neither formulaic nor deliberately anti-formulaic. 2. There are original characters and original settings. The distillery's history is made epic, but it's still full of undercover agents. This is less a romance and more a story of the Red and Black Factions in conflict. 3. The heroine follows the Detective Conan main plot, but Conan doesn't appear early on. She joins the distillery, but it's the kind of team-building outing she goes on with her police academy friends (?). She has ties to the Black Faction, but her allegiance is absolutely, completely, purely to the Red Faction. If you want a true-liquor villain, run for the hills. 4. The pairing is Hiromitsu Morofushi/Scotch, one-on-one! The heroine is just friends with the other four members of the police academy group and the other supporting characters. No crossing the line and no romance options. 5. I'm a fan of the original work and the whole group, and I love every original character. I won't excessively torment anyone (such as Conan or Shuichi Akai), and I'll do my best to avoid out-of-character portrayals. But everyone's understanding of a character differs, so out-of-character moments are inevitable. If you think a character has been made stupid, then my writing skills aren't good enough yet. I'll try to improve with my next book. 6. This is a nontraditional police academy group fix-it story. I only guarantee that everyone is alive in the final chapter; the plot is the plot, and doesn't exist to serve the fix-it premise. The middle and later parts get a little heavy and realistic. The ending will bring everyone to a happy ending in which they survive, in a somewhat mysterious (?) way. To each their own: you can consider it a Schrodinger's happy ending. 7. The story has many connections and callbacks between earlier and later chapters, with plenty of foreshadowing. I don't recommend skipping chapters. 8. The characters are multifaceted. The Red Faction may have its flaws, and the Black Faction may show kindness. A character's worldview isn't the author's. The Red Faction will win. 9. The following elements do not exist in this story (yes, you read that right, they do not exist!!!), including but not limited to: A motherly Scotch, A shrimp-loving Rei Furuya, Jinpei Matsuda as a terminally ill phone operator, A womanizing Shuichi Akai or Kenji Hagiwara, A reckless brat Conan who sees everything in black and white, Vermouth showering the heroine with maternal love, Renya Karasuma switching bodies... (You read that right, they don't exist.) Young Shinichi (meaning Shinichi Kudo as a child, not Conan after shrinking) may still be rather rash. He's different once he evolves into Detective Conan. 10. The following plot elements do not exist in this story (they really don't!!!): Forum aliases, comment bullet screens, and identity-card destruction, Save-and-reload scripts and body swaps. This is really a serious story. If you want a lighthearted, imaginative romp, don't put yourself through it. 11. The story is told from the heroine's perspective. Characters include, but aren't limited to, the Whiskey Group and Silver Bullet Group, who always appear in fanfiction, as well as the older sister Rena (Kir), the undercover agent group (Riesling and others), and Takagi, Sato, Chiba, and Nobunaga. They'll all appear. They may not all have a lot of screen time, but they will definitely be there. -- Coming soon: After being reborn, Hiromitsu Morofushi is bound to the Police Academy Sixth Member System (Pay attention, this is a coming-soon preview!!!!!!!!!!!!) A top-tier police academy sixth member needs to be doted on by both the Red and Black Factions! You're Gin's accomplice (emphasis) childhood friend! Vermouth's sunshine! Hiromitsu Morofushi: ...If I really had that kind of status, I'd be able to run wild in the organization. System: Believe in yourself, you can do it! Besides, you have a Karasuma name.
