The Cat Team's Manager Is Socially Anxious

Morinatsu Suzune is socially anxious. She’s also been surrounded by social butterflies ever since she was little. Her cousin is a cheerful owl who’s currently shining on the volleyball court. Her two childhood friends: one is called the “Prince of the School” and is currently shining in the drama club, while the other is a fashion model who’s currently shining on the basketball court. Even the one middle school friend who understood the pain of her social anxiety started a band with someone a month after entering high school, and is now shining in the band too. Everyone around her is enjoying their youth. Everyone except her. Morinatsu Suzune, left behind: ...Is this right? This isn’t right at all! Just as she was about to take her first step and join a club, only to realize she had no idea which one to pick Her very large mixed-race deskmate, who had just changed seats to sit beside her, leaned over. “If you haven’t joined a club yet, how about becoming an assistant for our volleyball team?” Morinatsu Suzune: ... Morinatsu Suzune shrieked internally: No way! This is way too much for someone with social anxiety to handle!!! But in reality Morinatsu Suzune, who was too bad at turning people down: “O-okay.” Then her eager deskmate dragged her to the gym. When one of the tall cat-like players looked over at her Morinatsu Suzune: peacefully.jpg Thanks for asking. Trying it out really could be the death of me. · At first, the cat team’s impression of their manager was: weak, pitiful, and helpless. In reality Their “weak and pitiful” manager didn’t need anyone’s help carrying the drinks. She just picked them up and ran. She could keep up during laps, and every so often she would pop out of the roadside bushes with towels for them. When cockroaches or bugs appeared, she would always roll up her sleeves and stand on the front line. That little figure was incredibly dependable! But helpless? That part was true. The manager knew avoiding things was shameful but effective, so whenever she could, she immediately ran to, the trees! The cat team at first: Get down! It’s dangerous!!! Later “By the way, where’s your team manager?” The cat team, unfazed: Oh, probably up in a tree. The other teams: ??? Skits: First At training camp, Morinatsu Suzune spotted her cousin and immediately turned to run. But she didn’t get away. Cheerful owl: HeyHeyHey! How are you, my adorable little sister? Morinatsu Suzune, lifted high into the air: soul leaving body.jpg Everyone else: What do you think!!! The cat team’s captain came running over and shrieked: “Bokuto, put our manager down!!!” Second Morinatsu Suzune when she might run into a ghost: It’s fine, it’s fine. Morinatsu Suzune when she might run into a person: ...Aaaaaah!!! She took off running. The cat team captain, treated like some terrifying monster: Don’t run so fast, you’ll fall! Wait! Why are you running?! Third After hearing that his adorable little sister had gotten close to a certain black cat and thought he was as dependable as her brother “What?! But I’m Suzune’s brother! I am!!!” The perceptive owl setter: ...Senpai Bokuto, is it possible he isn’t after the “brother” position? It’s still a goofy, lighthearted slice-of-life story with family and friendship as well! The romance will probably be a slow burn. There are little bonus skits in the author’s notes, so keep an eye out! 2. The heroine is socially anxious, prone to negative overthinking, and has a very unusual way of thinking.
