[Furina x Neuvillette / Romance and Case-solving, Complete]
The next story will be [Honkai: Star Rail] Sleep Once and Wake Up with a Boyfriend? The blurb is below. If you're interested, feel free to add it to your collection. Please, please!
Blurb:
"No, he is innocent!"
The lawyer, arguing for the defendant's innocence in a modern courtroom, opened her eyes in indignation and shouted.
But she discovered that she was in a strange place.
Everyone in the opera house, which looked like a courtroom, was staring at her.
No way. Had she transmigrated and become a criminal? After all those years defending the innocent, was it finally her turn to defend herself?
*
At Palais Mermonia, after seeing off who knew how many citizens, Furina covered her forehead and closed her eyes.
This role-playing was exhausting. Who could have known that footsteps would sound again the next second?
"Visiting hours have ended for today. Please come back tomorrow."
When the footsteps still didn't retreat, she looked up and saw that it was none other than Neuvillette, Fontaine's Chief Justice.
"Lady Furina, I hear you'll be arguing for the defendant's innocence again at tomorrow's trial."
At that, the voice of the woman in the mirror sounded in her mind once more:
"Your mission will end at the trial."
She waited and waited. More than four hundred years passed, yet the prophesied trial never came.
She had worn the mask for so long that she could no longer take it off.
*
After Fontaine's calamity, everyone in the Court of Fontaine was safe and sound in the blink of an eye.
But Neuvillette could never find Furina again.
A few things to know:
1. This is a spur-of-the-moment, low-effort work, with a mountain of headcanons. Neuvillette x Furina. No substitute trope: God Furina and human Furina are the same person. P.S. In my headcanon, the "transmigration" was also created by God Furina.
2. This is based on version 4.2. Later updates aren't covered by the outline. I'm not a lore expert, so I can only promise to stick to the broad strokes. The focus will be on their push and pull over four hundred years together.
3. The characters belong to miHoYo. Any out-of-character writing and headcanons are mine. If I've done a poor job, let me apologize in advance. I absolutely don't mean to insult any of the characters.
4. All my worldbuilding exists to serve the romance and the happy ending.
Next is the blurb for a story I'm hoping to publish. I hope you'll show it lots of love, everyone! QVQ
(CP: Aventurine)
Aurora's health has been getting worse lately, and she is always falling asleep.
Sometimes she's wide awake one moment, then the next, a violent pain tears through her mind and she loses consciousness.
Dark clouds gather in the sky, and rain begins to fall.
Cheers rise in the distance, accompanied by an infant's cries. Soaked from head to toe, Aurora makes her way toward the crowd.
"Mother Goddess of the Threefold Eyes, if you can hear me, please open your eyes and look upon this child..."
She glances aside, just as the baby in the swaddling clothes opens its eyes.
They are beautiful violet-gold eyes, as if they could draw her in.
The dream fades. A servant's voice sounds by her ear.
"Miss Aurora, these are the new slaves. Do any of them catch your eye?"
She turns to look, intending to refuse, but suddenly her eyes widen.
Among the newly arrived slaves, someone has the same eyes as the baby in her dream.
*
Traveling between reality and dreams leaves Aurora exhausted in body and mind.
After she makes a promise with young Kakavasha in a dream, sealing it with a palm-to-palm gesture, Aurora loses the ability to dream.
Determined to uncover the truth, she waits until the slave designated Number 35, shackled at both hands and feet, is brought before her.
"...Kakavasha."
But the boy only looks up. "Sorry, I don't know you."
He doesn't deny that this is his name. Aurora is overjoyed, hoping the vow from her dream will come true.
Beneath the midsummer stars, in a secluded summer estate, two hearts slowly draw closer.
Aurora leans down and presses a kiss to the slave number on Kakavasha's neck. She begs him to take her away from here and promises they will never part.
But in the end, blood stains the white roses in the church. Aurora takes Kakavasha's hand.
"May the Mother Goddess close her eyes for you three times..."
Those are the last words she leaves Kakavasha.
*
A woman lies asleep on a bed of ebony, poppies blooming all around her.
"You were dreaming, Aurora Morpheus."
The woman on the bed stretches, propping her face on one hand, looking listless.
"...I don't recall having any dreams. You must be mistaken, Dreammaster."
Penacony has been lively lately, and she doesn't want to miss out. But the moment she steps outside the family's territory, she is unlucky enough to get caught up in a case.
When Dr. Ratio takes her to a blond man whose clothes make him look like a peacock, but whose eyes are extraordinarily beautiful, he says:
"Let's make a bet. Guess which hand is hiding the chips."
Aurora rolls her eyes and turns to leave.
But the next second, she stops and slowly opens her palm. A chip is revealed. A voice comes from behind her.
"You've left me twice before. This time, I'll bet with you..."
"I'll bet on whether you'll leave me a third time."
A few things to know:
1. CP: Aventurine, one-on-one, happy ending. miHoYo's story hurt me, and there wasn't enough fanfic, so I made some myself. A mountain of headcanons.
2. All worldbuilding exists to serve the romance and the happy ending. Kakavasha's romance only begins gradually after he becomes a slave. There is absolutely no romance in any scenes where the characters are children (emphasis!).
3. Any out-of-character writing in this story is my fault, but I want to make it clear in advance that I absolutely don't mean to insult any characters from the original work.
4. This story is based on the Honkai: Star Rail game, but will mostly be original. Please don't compare it to the game and ask why something seems inaccurate. I'm not as good as miHoYo's writers, QAQ. The slave-era setting draws on ancient Rome, mainly for the clothing, architecture, and the exploitation and fighting of slaves. The game also discusses this period in detail, so I can only use my own headcanons.
5. Posting starts on April 23, with three chapters on launch day, then updates at 6 p.m. After it gets a ranking slot, updates will follow the schedule. Extra chapters will be added after signing.
Theme: Mortals standing shoulder to shoulder with gods
Is it appropriate to stand guard at the door of the opposite sex for one night? (Gently)
Caolong: What god! Come to the dragon! Is there any more dragon power?!!!
Suddenly it occurred to me that I would like to watch a seven-day desert tour for two people (Whispers of the Devil) Instead of going to see the grass dragon, I wanted to go to the amusement park in Idia. Don't you think it's awesome to see the pure water elves in the hidden paradise in the desert?
It would be nice to accompany Fufu to travel around Teyvat (to be honest, I'm looking forward to them going to the desert to see the app or Egolia's nectar flower sea hehehe)
Fufu: We can't have this bad newspaper anymore.
I want to see Nafu go to the Wind Flower Festival together, and let Wendy give Fufu a little bit of the shock of Free Mondstadt, hahaha, I want Fufu to feel the atmosphere of Mondstadt, hehe
It's really good-looking, but I just want to see something that j can't watch
I understand. To deal with a dragon, you have to fight hard.
Get married, get married immediately, and I will move the Teyvat Civil Affairs Bureau to you!
It's both sad and funny, and makes me want to cry.
