[Ultraman] My Online Crush Is Taiga

Shen Zhixia immigrated to Japan with her mother and changed her name to Mori Chika. A loner by nature, she never made a single friend after starting high school.

Then one day, a mysterious account appeared on her social media.

Forest: [What's your name?]

Name unavailable: [I'm from ???, and I'm ???]

Forest: Can't see your name. Get out of here.

Name unavailable: [...My name is ???. I said, my name is ???! I'm from ???.]

Name unavailable: [...Never mind. They said you can just call me Giant of Light.]

Forest: Who are they?!

Name unavailable: [The other Giants of Light!]

Mori Chika became friends with this "Giant of Light." He was amazing: he could predict meteor showers and watch them with her, and he listened to her worries late into the night.

He taught her to recognize nebulae and told her stories about the vast universe. She showed him the brilliant cherry blossoms.

This Giant of Light was so lively, adorable, and kind that he often made her laugh out loud. Gradually, she realized that her feelings for this online friend had become something more.

On the day Mori Chika turned eighteen, she and the Giant of Light arranged to meet.

But when the appointed time came, the Giant of Light never showed up.

Mori Chika opened their account to ask what had happened, but her message vanished into the void.

Years passed. Mori Chika grew even more aloof and cold, becoming an employee at a funeral home and a special adviser to the civilian organization EGIS.

She kept the account she'd used to contact the Giant of Light as a girl, but she never managed to reach him again.

Every day at the funeral home, Mori Chika dealt with the dead.

Then one day, EGIS got a new member, Kudo Yuu. The account that had gone silent for so long suddenly chimed.

[Huh? I finally got through!!!]

[Are you okay?]

[Sorry, your message could not be delivered!]

Mori Chika was so annoyed when she saw the messages that she gave a cold laugh and blocked the account.

Taiga, who lived inside Kudo Yuu, stared at the account he'd finally managed to message, only to get blocked: (T▽T)

Fuma: Oh dear.

Titus: Oh dear.

Yuu: Oh dear.

After adding in a few details, I finally figured out how to make the plot work. I think I'll write this after I finish Belial.

Theme: Love can overcome every fear, and every day is bliss when you're with the person you love.
