[Western Crossover] Mr. Gotham Is Everywhere

[My story, Cosplaying as a Real Person and Practicing Medicine [Western Crossover], Clark Kent x Gojo Satoru, is currently updating! Check out my completed no-CP story, After Returning to Yokohama, I Saved the World with My Assorted Secret Identities.] Synopsis: Gotham loves every one of its children, but its favorite is that adorable big Bat. He's the child most like Gotham, dazzling and bright like the city by day, yet gloomy and brooding like it by night. Gotham loves him so much that it watches over and cherishes him, giving him the entire city's tolerance and favoritism. But Gotham feels that isn't enough. It wants to interact with its child more. So one day, it crawls into his phone. Bruce is troubled. At some point, a strange chat window appeared on his phone. He can't delete it or hack into it. It even stays there when he gets a new phone. The person on the other side keeps sending him ambiguous messages: “You looked good in your outfit at the party today.” “That model has a bad reputation. Don't bother with her.” “Last quarter's spokesperson for the company dodged taxes. Should we replace them this quarter?” “The new place on Central Street has great food. You should try it.” “The latest limited-edition tie from L's goes perfectly with your suits.” “You stayed up too late yesterday. Get some rest.” Being watched like this makes the control-freak big Bat deeply uncomfortable. So he puts on the mask of Gotham's prince and trades probing messages with the “person” on the other end of the phone. The Dark Knight is convinced this is nothing more than a serious operation to catch a stalker. And yet... “Master Bruce, you've been spending more and more time on your phone lately,” his all-purpose butler Alfred says. “I just want to find out who ‘he’ is, then lock him up in Arkham or Blackgate,” Bruce argues. “Very well.” Alfred smiles indulgently. “Online dating is a new experience, but do remember to protect your eyes.” “This is not online dating.” Bruce declares righteously, “Even if it meant giving up my cookies and jumping off Wayne Tower, I'd never date a criminal online!” That is, until Bruce meets his online friend in person. ...He's so worth it. The Dark Knight thinks. How can anything Gotham does count as a crime? CP: A certain shadowy figure x Gotham Reading Notes: 1. Gotham is a city with a consciousness, but it is the only conscious city in the entire world. The reason will be explained later in the story. 2. Gotham itself has no gender and can take the form of men, women, young or old, and even animals. For certain reasons, its primary form is male, so this is a pure-love romance. 3. My own take on the universe. OOC warning: the timeline and characters' ages have been heavily altered, and it doesn't follow the original plot. 4. The first two chapters have more of Bruce's perspective, but the story is mainly told from Gotham's perspective. Bruce is the top, so don't get the pairing wrong! 5. Everyday-life fluff. It's not very long. Upcoming story: [Western Crossover] Cosplaying as a Real Person and Practicing Medicine Also known as: #A Zhen Falls for A Qiang# A Zhen, an old-school otaku, takes one step across the world at a convention. Cosplaying as Gojo Satoru, he goes through countless hardships to help the protagonists deal with the Brain and the jujutsu world. He thinks he can finally lie flat and enjoy a peaceful life in the jujutsu world. But in the blink of an eye, he's in a different world again. Since he's here, he might as well settle in. You can retire anywhere, after all. A Zhen sees that this new world has neither curses nor sorcerers, and happily settles down. A new small-town doctor arrives in the wholesome town of Smallville, Kansas. He's kind and patient, and the residents adore him. Only young Clark knows that the mysterious doctor has healing abilities beyond those of ordinary people. Clark feels secretly delighted and relieved. It means he isn't the only “odd one out,” and he doesn't have to worry so much about hurting others when he can't control his strength. The doctor will always help him. Years later, the kind doctor becomes his boyfriend. Now Superman, Clark carefully protects his delicate boyfriend, making sure no danger from the outside world can reach him. But even the most careful plans can have a flaw. An alien enemy thinks they've found Superman's weakness and sends their underlings to capture the doctor. When Clark rushes to the scene, he sees his gentle boyfriend making an exaggerated face, shouting, “Saaikou ni high na kibun da!,” as he crushes the heads of two aliens. Clark: shocked.jpg A Zhen, finally letting loose: “Oh, wow!” Bonus Scene Clark: “A Zhen, if you're going to appear as the League's doctor, you should come up with a codename.” A Zhen: “A codename?” Clark: “For example, my real name is Clark, but when I'm active as a superhero, everyone calls me Superman.” A Zhen suddenly understands and slaps his palm. “I've got it!” “Then I'll be called Realman!” Reading Notes: 1. A wildly unlikely Superman x Gojo Satoru pairing. This is Gojo Satoru transported while cosplaying, and he's the wholesome version, so he's definitely OOC. (Honestly, would an in-character Gojo as the protagonist even get past the censors?) 2. Everyday-life story with a long timeline. Clark only falls in love as an adult, so it's loosely a childhood-sweethearts story. 3. Gojo's abilities will be boosted a little, and ordinary people can see him. 4. A Zhen never watched superhero series in his previous life, so he only knows their names. Theme: Protecting the city is everyone's responsibility
