[Western Crossover] The Fox Ancestor and the Sweetheart Soldier

Coming next: “[Western Crossover] The Target of My Mission Comes Knocking,” premiering July 25, 2020, at 2 p.m.

More or less the story of a fox patriarch who has cultivated into a spirit and a certain big-chested sweetheart, plus saving the world and earning merit along the way. It begins on a dark and stormy night, when a filthy little ball of fluff is taken in by a “senior citizen” who has just been thawed out. One is bewildered and ignorant after suddenly arriving in another world; the other is lost and disoriented after being displaced in time. Sparks fly and lightning crackles, and so it begins.

One day, the patriarch finally realizes that this new world has a strangely familiar feel to it: a flying metal can, a giant who can summon thunder and lightning, a proud and fickle second princess, a web-slinging Spider-Man, the last Kryptonian, the crime-fighting black bat, a cloaked wizard, a sorcerer who controls time, a detective who seems to attract murders wherever he goes, monsters, ghosts...

Good heavens, what kind of world is this? Is it still too late to go back? The sweetheart soldier: “Go back? Where to? Take me with you!”

Years later, someone interviews the big-chested sweetheart:

“As a moral paragon and an idol to the public, did you conceal your sexual orientation from the public from the very beginning? Did you ever consider the harmful impact of openly falling in love with a man?”

“A moral paragon? I never knew I had that title. I just wanted a home, and I fell in love with someone. It just so happened that he was a man! I love him, and it has nothing to do with gender!”

The patriarch’s three favorite things: the sweetheart’s dazzling masculine aura, merit, and roast chicken.

The sweetheart’s three favorite things: the little fluffball, the fox patriarch in human form, and the fox patriarch again, also known as the Elderly Man’s Guide to Romance.

A case of an old house catching fire, impossible to put out: A guide to earning merit among superheroes.
