Bringing Scotland Back to Life

Scotland dreamed he had a tiny person the size of his thumb. She held up a pushpin and shouted, "An army destined for victory!" She nibbled on raisins and said all sorts of nonsensical things. When he woke up, he was dazed for a long time. Had that really happened? But if it hadn't, why had the heart pierced by a bullet on the rooftop started beating again? Like the stray cat who willingly let him tie a red string around her, he was waiting for the promised dried fish. * A textbook case of Scotland dying stone-cold dead, then getting his bento kicked back open. Pairing: Hiromitsu Female lead: a cute little demon king who's wickedly cunning and says little While everyone else transmigrated from a higher-dimensional world, unlucky Fuyukawa was the only one to transmigrate from a lower-dimensional world. Fuyukawa's original world was a text-based RPG with no visuals, only words. As an NPC, even her name was randomly generated: Fuyukawa Random. According to her setting, she was [learned and well-read], but in the three-dimensional world, she was an idiot who couldn't even perceive [happiness]. NPC Fuyukawa learned a lot from her neighbor. So when blood stained his chest, she entered his dream: into his childhood memories steeped in the smell of rust, into summer in Nagano, onto the school sports field, into the police academy training grounds, and into Scotland's safe house. A repairperson doesn't always just tear down the house. Sometimes they mend the heart, too. After completing the enormous project, the carefree demolition demon king decided to say goodbye to the three-dimensional world. "I've fixed you up. We're even now," she told Scotland. Scotland's expression was unreadable. Without a word, he unplugged her internet cable. Notes: 1. A story of mutual salvation, more or less. 2. Compared with the last novel, this one has a much more prominent romance. She doesn't join the liquor company. It's a silly, slice-of-life romance. 3. Bento-kicking in progress: Scotland's bento is the main one getting kicked back open, but everyone else's will be saved in turn. Kenji dies from the start, but his bento will be kicked back open, too. Bonus versions: Vodka is playing a text-based RPG.
