Konoha's Biggest Sucker

Jingjing Haiye came to Konoha as an exchange student to study and help with poverty alleviation.

Haiye arrived in Konoha Village with her suitcase, ready for her exchange program. She soon realized she shouldn't have been fooled by internet friends into coming here. Now she was Konoha's biggest sucker!

Jingjing Haiye was born in Tonggong Village, best known for its infrastructure. Haiye herself was studying civil engineering. She had a very close online friend called Senju Mudun Good Girl. Senju had talked up Konoha's academic atmosphere like it was the best in the world, and Haiye had believed her. So she came as an exchange student in her junior year.

When she first arrived in Konoha, Haiye watched the homing pigeons flying free and fell into thought. She cautiously suggested, "How about we build a communications and delivery system?"

Little did she know that she would pay for what she said that day...

During the rainy season, Haiye was miserably supervising construction of the drainage system. The neighboring Land of Rain was snooping around, hoping to poach her. Haiye: I'm not working for free!

War broke out again. Haiye was in charge of wartime supplies, and now she was also shouldering the postwar infrastructure reconstruction. Haiye: I want to go home!

Tenzou Yamato patted her on the shoulder. "Could you please not go home? I'm begging you." (Teary-eyed)

Please note:

1. The male lead is undecided, and might be Hatake Sakumo.

2. The plot goes off the rails, with original worldbuilding. It may be a parallel world under Infinite Tsukuyomi. The timeline is currently around the handover from the Third Hokage to the Fourth, and the Founders are all online friends.

3. Updates are irregular. Writing a more realistic story in another series wore me out, so I started this lighthearted new one.

Theme: Infrastructure is essential to everyday life!
