The Infinite-Worlds Boss Is a Hopeless Romantic

After accidentally entering an infinite game, Ming Sheng thought he'd have a tough and dangerous time. Instead, the whole game had a completely different vibe from what he expected. The owner of a rose manor / the deranged doctor in a mental hospital / the conductor of a death train / the mermaid on a deserted island Every boss he met professed their love in a different way, claiming it was love at first sight and begging him to stay. Ming Sheng was wary: ? A new kind of scam? So he beat up the bosses one by one, dusted himself off, and headed into the next level. Over time, a rumor spread among the players. A womanizer had charmed the level bosses, then dumped them, causing them to spiral after their heartbreak and making the levels harder. He was a complete scumbag who toyed with people's feelings and always left them in the lurch! When Ming Sheng heard the rumor, he leaned in to join the gossip, only to see his own face on the discussion thread. Ming Sheng: ??? That's slander! So he turned around and beat up all the bosses again. Then he spoke earnestly to the little blind boy he'd picked up in the level: "Listen, bosses these days are really devious. One slip-up and they'll capture you and chop you into pieces. Don't listen to anything they say, okay? They love eating good, obedient kids like you." The little blind boy obediently nodded, soft and sweet. Ming Sheng gave his cheek a satisfied pinch. The instant Ming Sheng turned away, the little boy's face twisted into a savage grimace, and the enormous, eerie shadow behind him went berserk. Who. On. Earth. Is. Spreading. These.
