[Western Crossover] The Mobius Strip

[Main Story Complete] Colvin woke up with amnesia and discovered that Gotham had become a strange place. Madmen had become renowned professors, Talons ran rampant, and Batman had never appeared. Colvin: lighting-a-cigarette.jpg For the sake of a promise, Colvin finally lifted the veil hiding the entire city and put everyone back where they belonged. Just as he was about to catch his breath, his memories returned. Colvin suddenly realized that this kind of fantastical city wasn't the only one. Colvin: cardiac arrest. They must stand united to face their common enemy. To make that happen, you must stop at nothing. Become an obstacle and a thorn in their path, so they won't repeat the same mistakes. Colvin is a ghost trailing behind the superheroes, the world's greatest enemy. He puts the Earth up for sale as a bargaining chip, constantly challenges the superheroes on the scales of morality, and keeps close company with countless supervillains... Just as he was getting ready to enjoy his defeat, all the heroes regained their memories. Colvin: "..." Looking at the countless allies behind him who had joined forces with the enemy, Colvin decided to give up, his face expressionless. Goodbye. He's setting sail tonight! Reader's Guide: 1. The protagonist is a DC native, with a focus on Batman. The story is set against the backdrop of Injustice and the Axis of Evil (so many superheroes' flaws will be especially prominent early on, but don't worry, Colvin will use his Personality-Reforming Fist to beat them back into their noble, heroic selves). 2. He's a Bat-kid, has a great relationship with his family, and is an adult. Since he's an adult, feel free to put him through the wringer (?). 3. No romance throughout. The highest level of affection is admiration. 4. Serious story, lots of flashbacks, expansive worldbuilding, and angst. The author loves settings, so feel free to point out any plot holes. Maybe I got carried away writing (?), or maybe they're foreshadowing. Theme: Ordinary people can save the world through hard work.
