Western Crossover: Saving the Protagonists of Tragic Stories

N years after Elise's death, her golden finger finally arrives late. The System says her resurrection operates on a prepaid-card basis: the energy sustaining her life comes from the audience support this world receives. As luck runs low for the pillar character, all she has to do is help the protagonist overcome their hardships. She can gain energy and raise their favorability at the same time, killing two birds with one stone. What could be better? Elise: I have seen this setup before. Next comes creating a persona, following the plot, redemption, or pursuing them, or should I go All in? I swear on my two-thousand-book Jinjiang shelf that I know countless tropes...
