No Rat Race Allowed in the Organization!

Currently writing: Jumping Back and Forth Between the Red and Black Camps Complete: I'm Really Real Liquor Coming soon: Becoming Undercover Liquor from Police Academy A new recruit joined the Organization, and Lin Kui explained the company culture: "Our Organization doesn't take Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays off. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are overtime. On weekends, a lucky person is randomly selected for a mission. We work hard through every holiday, too. Every so often, you'll experience a traitor stabbing you in the back, a partner switching sides, several bottles of liquor together and not a single one of them being real, or being mistaken for a spy and getting a personal visit from the big boss to offer you end-of-life care. Are you sure you still want to join?" The young man looked determined. "I'm sure." Lin Kui deflated. "Fine. That's the standard if you're working under the big boss. My standard is slacking off Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, loafing around on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and taking missions as they come. No rat race! My only requirement is that you can't be a spy. Can you do that?" "I... I'll try?" Later... Lin Kui stared in despair at spies one through four, each more capable at missions than the last, and broke down: "I told you, no rat race!" Before You Read: The heroine is a traitor early on, and her everyday life is a series of failures. She's not a genius. The timeline has been changed slightly for the sake of the plot. The usual character deaths will be overturned. The pairing is set; see the one-line introduction for details. A recommendation for my upcoming story: Becoming Undercover Liquor from Police Academy, also known as Those Years Back at Police Academy One of my excellent-graduate classmates becomes an instructor at the school, while two other classmates become temporary instructors as excellent graduates and rising stars in the police force. As for me, even though I'm a spy in the same organization as my childhood friend, who was also an excellent graduate, the spy organization has sent me to be a "counter-spy." We're all excellent graduates, so why am I the only one who's this exceptional? An excellent graduate going back to school for another round: Is it the death of humanity, or the collapse of morality? The main story is told in third person. Theme: Stay true to yourself.
