How to Win Matsuda Over in Three Seconds

This novel will be entering VIP serialization on June 29. If I post 10,000 words on launch day, 60% of the text will be locked behind a paywall. Thank you for supporting the official version. [Read the content warnings before starting the story] [While writing updates for this book, I was going through a major upheaval in my life, and both my mental state and the latter half of the story fell apart. I'm very sorry for such a serious flaw. I'll revise the parts that need revising and rewrite the parts that need rewriting, doing my best to improve it.] 1. The third winter, on the anniversary of Hagiwara's death. A frail-looking stranger suddenly handed Matsuda a letter. "Kenji asked me to pass this on to you." "?" Anger at the insult took over, and Matsuda's expression darkened in an instant. As the woman shoved the letter into his hand and turned to run, he caught up in a few strides and grabbed her. But the moment he touched her, Matsuda was horrified to see a translucent ghost floating beside her. Ghost Hagiwara: "Huh? Jinpei-chan can see me?" Matsuda's eyes widened in shock. The next second, the skinny woman knocked him out with a punch. 2. Asuka, a retired space-time administrator, had a Justice Handbook. She casually snapped a photo of Officer Kenji's soul sitting on a gravestone, and ended up with him clinging to her. "The Justice Handbook? Let me see... Little Furuya is an SP? That's amazing! ...Huh!? Why am I only an R?" Asuka: "That's what you get for dying so young." Besides individual ability, one's life and deeds also affect the evaluation. "Damn it, I'm definitely going to rank up to SP!" "Oh, good luck with that." "So, Asuka, hurry up and make me a body~" "Beg me." "Please." "...Have some pride, for goodness' sake!!" 3. Deep in a narrow alley: "This is a robbery!" Asuka, being robbed, snapped her fingers with a cool expression. Four tall police officers appeared out of nowhere in a puff of cartoonish smoke. Robber: ??? Tooru happened to pass by and witnessed four deceased classmates pinning the robber to the ground. ...? He must have been working too much overtime lately. He was starting to hallucinate. 4. To make a contract with the Justice Handbook, a soul must be branded. The world's one and only SP, a certain blond man, was deeply troubled by this. Every time he fell asleep, a ghostly female voice would whisper in his ear: "Tooru, when are you going to die? I want your SP trait." Blond man: ...? Believe me, I'll send you off first :) Matsuda pairing. This is a Detective Conan-only story, not a crossover. The heroine just happens to be named Asuka and has no connection to Asuka from any other series. [Content warnings] 1. A cheerful, playful life of bickering with the Police Academy Group. The main story focuses on leveling up the handbook, looking cool, and tormenting everyone. They're all friends who love giving each other a hard time. 2. Everyone torments everyone else, in a fun and teasing way. Not one character escapes the heroine's indiscriminate mental attacks with a smile. 3. No one is saved. The heroine will have more and more ghosts following her around. The extras will feature resurrections. 4. The heroine is not a normal human. Her values and way of thinking differ from those of humans to some extent. 5. My preferences among the original characters: Police Academy Group > female characters > other male characters. The official settings for the Police Academy Group have always had bugs, so in my personal version all five are career-track officers, and their promotion speeds will be adjusted to match. The story idea first came to me in early 2022, and I have chat logs to prove it. I've only changed the blurb and title. The original title was The Justice Handbook of Beika Street. Theme: Remember everyone who gave their life for justice
