After the Cats at Home Started Talking

[Main story complete (///v///)] First item in the reading guide is [highlighted]. Please read it repeatedly. If this bothers you, [do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not] read! The story has comedic misunderstandings and unexpected plot twists. Please don’t treat them as reflections of the characters’ integrity. [The blurb for my completed novel, Sweetly Racing After Getting Scammed, is at the very bottom. Add it to your collection if you’re interested!] Karasuma Arashi had always thought he lived in a peaceful, tranquil world. Although his father was often away and hard to see, he was a kind and loving father. That is, until one day, he heard the long-haired cat at home start talking, its tone heavy with concern. “I miss everyone so much. I wonder how little Matsuda is doing...” Karasuma Arashi: ??? Then one night, his father called him into the study. “Arashi, there’s something I have to tell you. Your grandfather is actually Karasuma X, and you have to go back and inherit the family fortune...” Karasuma Arashi: ??? Then he was shoved onto a plane to Japan. When he landed, a handsome blond man with dark skin greeted him outside a certain cafe, smiling brightly but eyeing him carefully. “Welcome, boss!” Karasuma Arashi: ... What should he do after waking up to discover that he might be the ultimate villain?? Help!! Answers wanted!! Later A young man with light brown hair holds a curly-haired cat in his left arm and a long-haired cat in his right, expertly defusing the bomb counting down in front of him. Toru: ? The Maine Coon on the young man’s shoulder leaps out and knocks down the vicious criminal with two punches. Toru: ? Holding a blue-eyed cat in his arms, the young man calmly takes a sip of coffee. “They say when you were three, you made a girl in your class cry but didn’t know how to apologize. When you were seven, you kept getting hurt every day just to see pretty big sisters. When you were nine... Mm? Mm?” Toru covers his mouth. For the first time, he wonders if he’s going crazy. Why does he see the shadows of his former classmates in a bunch of cats? [Reading Guide] (bold and highlighted): 1. The cats are all demanding little divas and experts at causing trouble. OOC warning. If that bothers you, don’t read. [This is extremely important!] 2. 80% anti-piracy ratio, with a 72-hour delay. 3. The pairing is set: Hagi. 4. At first, the cats torment their owner (more plot-heavy); later, the cats face their reckoning (my version of a reckoning). 5. Feel free to buy and stop at any time. Cut your losses early, and don’t contact me if you drop the story. 6. Official readers will get occasional bonus chapters, and earlier chapters will be revised. Please support the official version! Love you! One second, Matsuda was a police officer heroically sacrificing himself on a Ferris wheel. The next, he had become Black Pinot, a prodigy from the parallel world’s liquor organization. Matsuda: ? He went for a drive to clear his head, only to run into a man wearing a knit cap who deliberately threw himself in front of his car. Matsuda: My car was going fifty miles an hour, and you still dared to jump in front of it? The man proved through his actions that he really did dare. He was taken to the ICU that very day, and suffered a head injury that left him with amnesia. Matsuda’s conscience wouldn’t let him abandon a patient who’d lost even his basic common sense on the street, so he had no choice but to take him back to his safe house and start their cozy (not really) daily life together. * He opened the safe house door and saw his childhood friend, whom he hadn’t seen in four years. Before Matsuda could grab him by the collar and demand to know what was going on, he saw the man’s gaze fall on the guy behind him. “Little Jinpei, where’d you pick up this stray man?” Matsuda Jinpei: ??? Was there something wrong with his childhood friend? * Just when Matsuda thought he was about to be tormented into madness, he ran into two former classmates who’d disappeared right after graduation. Matsuda: This is the first time I’ve been so happy to see that blond bastard. He started trying to get close to his two former classmates, hoping to communicate telepathically through their old classmate bond. Except things gradually started to go wrong. A low-ranking employee from the liquor organization: Black Pinot is an unpredictable senior. Just a few months ago, he suspected Bourbon and Scotch of being Public Security spies. Now he’s aggressively pursuing them both... Yes, at the same time. Matsuda: ??? Matsuda: It’s fine. Outsiders don’t understand me. My former classmates will definitely understand. As it turned out, they didn’t. Former classmates: One day, I’ll arrest you with my own hands. Some Hagi: We should get rid of these ungrateful bastards, along with the stray man at home. Matsuda: :-D Destroy it all. I’m tired.
