I Love Him So Much

In his second year of college, Lu Xingsheng transferred to a different campus. He pushed open the door to his new dorm room. Liu Weijun, who was unpacking, turned at the sound and greeted him with a gentle smile, his handsome eyes crinkling.

Lu Xingsheng felt an arrow pierce his heart.

His first thought:

Isn't this the perfect little wife who only exists in my dreams?

His second thought:

I love him so much! I want him to be my wife!

So that very day, Lu Xingsheng ran to the gazebo, where he found Liu Weijun reading. He slammed his hand on the table, then babbled out a confession, and finally invited Liu Weijun to dinner.

Wearing Bluetooth earbuds, Liu Weijun looked up in confusion and only caught the last sentence: "...Let's eat together every day from now on!"

Liu Weijun smiled. "Sure."

Liu Weijun realized his new roommate, Lu Xingsheng, was acting strangely.

He wanted Liu Weijun to feed him at meals, hold his hand when they walked, and give him a goodnight kiss before bed every night.

Of course, Lu Xingsheng would do all those things for him first.

Liu Weijun: I'd heard that guys in the sports department are so straight they're practically gay. Now that I've seen it for myself, I can confirm it's true.

Lu Xingsheng: My wife's so cute when he's shy! I'm going to spoil him rotten!

Then one day, Lu Xingsheng decided it was time for him and his wife to take the next step. He lifted his wife's chin, hoping for a kiss. Liu Weijun turned pale with fright and fled.

Only then did Lu Xingsheng understand: that successful confession had been a misunderstanding, and everything that had happened since was just wishful thinking.

He didn't have a wife at all.

He spent one minute moping.

Then another minute turning dark.

Lu Xingsheng: No, I still love him so much. If he's not my wife yet, I'll just have to work hard to make him my wife for real!

Liu Weijun had barely made it two steps out of the dorm when Lu Xingsheng caught up and pulled him firmly into the stairwell corner. He pinned him against the wall and blurted out, "You're so cute, and I love you so much. Please be my wife!"

Liu Weijun's cheeks turned bright red. He pushed at Lu Xingsheng's face. "I don't want to..."
