The Inspirational Lives of Two Patients

A naturally gifted, handsome young womanizer with serious psychological issues who still insists on saving others × an inferiority-ridden, obsessive artist who is warm and cheerful in public, but self-loathing and inclined to hate the world in private, like a loyal dog.

Li Qing catches his ex-boyfriend on the rooftop, just as he's about to take his own life.

After coaxing him down, Li Qing buys his life with money and declares:

"You don't get to throw your life away anymore. Your life belongs to me now!"

In truth, he's scared and nervous himself (...).

What's it like to be someone's last lifeline?

Li Qing already has psychological issues of his own, and now he's forced to take in someone who's ill. He's exhausted.

But the longer he cares for him, the more he finds he doesn't mind it?

Coming home to someone who brings him food and clothes, Li Qing sincerely admits that it's actually pretty great.

But after the college entrance exams end and university is about to begin, he realizes that somehow, without noticing, he's nearly (already) been pampered into uselessness?!

At last, Li Qing realizes something is wrong and hurriedly runs away. But then he sees his ex-boyfriend beside the psychology professor teaching his elective, under the title of teaching assistant. After class, his ex-boyfriend casually pulls him into his arms and whispers in his ear:

"Please don't abandon me, Master."

An unconventional story of mutual salvation: each is the other's only cure.

The tone is silly and lighthearted in everyday life, but occasionally serious. A traditional happy ending. Come on in!

There are confinement scenes, and even a surprisingly elegant (?) melodramatic amnesia plot. Dive in boldly, there's no need to panic!

Theme: Art comes from life, yet rises above it.
