I Maintain Peace Through Card Draws

New Story: After Being Bound by Both the Hero and Villain Systems at Once Upcoming: The Glory Pigeon King, Digging Pits to Become a God. Please add it to your collection! -------------------- Story Blurb -------------------- Takizawa Yume, who was obsessed with a game called Draw Cards to Maintain Peace, woke up one day and transmigrated with the game System. The game screen was completely gray. The card-drawing System started up. Congratulations, player: you drew ten R cards and earned the achievement "Ultimate African Player." With ten R cards, Takizawa Yume began living the fantasy of playing ten roles at once. A sorcerer using the "Bloodletting Style" maintains balance in a mysterious city. An intelligence agent codenamed "Twilight" carries all kinds of classified information, moving among various factions. A judge named "Moon" looks down from on high and waves a hand, making cursed spirits vanish. A black-haired swordsman who appears only after dark carries a pet and uses the sword in his hand to stop killing with killing, executing ability users who cause trouble. An up-and-coming dark novelist wages war on the world with words, telling people that only "peace" is real. After investigating from every side, the various factions discovered that all these people had the same teacher. Takizawa Yume, seated high in his office chair, smiled: Sorry, I'm the teacher. Oh, and I'm not just their teacher. I'm all of them, too. To earn Peace Points and clear the game, Takizawa Yume began making a mess of the world first, then sending his cards out to maintain peace. Over and over, for the sake of peace, Takizawa Yume made a world that was already anything but peaceful even less peaceful. Peace is hard. Acting is even harder. Maybe this damn world should just be destroyed. * This is my take on a secret-identity story. The identities will not be exposed. * The male lead is a mastermind behind the scenes, but the author's intelligence may not be enough, so there may be plot holes. * I'm terrible at writing blurbs, so please bear with me. Writing a blurb is really hard. You know how it is if you've tried. I'm begging you. * There are lots of headcanons, and this is a Crossover of a bunch of manga. It may be out of character, so I'll admit that upfront. * Please treat the card characters as people from parallel worlds. You can criticize me, but don't criticize the characters. Any out-of-character writing is my fault. Blurb: 2021.4.25 -------------------- Upcoming -------------------- After Being Bound by Both the Hero and Villain Systems at Once [Crossover] Hoshimi Ochiru, an office worker who diligently gathers intelligence for Libra behind the scenes, was suddenly bound by two Systems at once. One was a villain System, demanding that he build his own villain organization through card draws and become a mastermind who wreaks havoc in the region. The other was a hero System, which likewise demanded that he build his own organization through card draws and maintain world peace. Hoshimi Ochiru: ? How about you two fight it out first? From the start, he relied on card draws, and every member of the organization was him. A demon known as the "White Yaksha" roams the darkness, defining good and evil through his own existence. An ability user, dancing with danger amid interwoven darkness, lives on the brink of death. A world-famous phantom thief known as the "Heart Stealer" upholds justice in his own way. The golden-haired, red-eyed "Crime Consultant," smooth-talking, calculating, and deep-laid in his schemes, tries to bring about a revolution through "crime" and change the whole world. Just look at the members of his organizations: a "chaotic evil" troublemaker, a judge who upholds justice... Not one of them is normal. That includes him, the leader of both the hero and villain organizations. The hero and villain Systems bound to Hoshimi Ochiru are always trying to destroy each other's organizations. Caught in the middle, he quietly plants spies in both groups, staging a case of me betraying myself. Later... The members sent undercover into the organizations realized something was not quite right. Spy 1: My boss is a little strange. His gaze is especially sharp whenever he looks at me. I'm so nervous. Could he have figured out I'm a spy? Spy 2: ...My new subordinate is a spy too, just like me. This organization has way too many people on our side. Spy 3: This is so annoying. I'm a villain sent undercover in the hero organization, and every day I think about how to kill a few more people without anyone noticing. To hell with being a good person. Spy 4: Help! How can I slack off so that the assassination mission fails plausibly? Being a double agent is no job for a human! Spy N: Holy crap, the flood has washed into the Dragon King's temple! Who the hell could have guessed that the leaders of the hero and villain organizations are the same person?!!! Hoshimi Ochiru smiled: That's right. It's me. Still me. Theme: Rely on yourself, and stand on your own two feet.
