Special-Grade Teacher Abe No Seimei

[Upcoming derivative danmei novel: "Which Matters More, Me or Volleyball?" Pairing with Oikawa Tooru. Please add it to your collection!] A new teacher arrives at Tokyo Jujutsu High. He teaches every subject to both the first- and second-year students all by himself. A silver-haired beauty, he is exceptionally knowledgeable and capable. His only flaw is that he can't see curses, making him an ordinary person through and through. It's said that before coming to Jujutsu High, Teacher Seimei was a renowned special-grade instructor who had taught countless outstanding students. The students are all curious about why he gave up such a bright future to teach at a place like this. While everyone is practically tearing their hair out to learn the truth, one person in the know, pure-hearted high schooler Fushiguro, says, "Because long-distance relationships are hard, right?" Everyone: "Huh?" Fushiguro blinks. "You didn't know? Teacher Seimei is Teacher Gojo's lover." Everyone: "Huh?!!!" When he learns they've found out, Teacher Seimei just smiles without saying a word. * Seimei, the great onmyoji of the Heian era, turned down an offer of divine office from Takamagahara, reincarnated, and vanished into the vast sea of humanity. A thousand years later, the great onmyoji returns to the world. His old friends and shikigami from a thousand years ago come to visit him. But everyone is quick to notice that the onmyoji, who has always been free of worldly desires, now bears a knot of romantic fate. Gods and demons: Why? Who's the bastard?! The bastard, the invincible sorcerer: "Obviously, because I'm the strongest~" Content warnings: 1. Mountains of original worldbuilding! 2. The characters belong to their original works; any OOC is my doing. 3. The protagonist is based on the legendary great onmyoji of Japan and has nothing to do with the game. This is not a game fanfic! 4. This is a crack ship pairing the strongest onmyoji with the strongest sorcerer. 5. There is a secondary pairing, Gui Bai. They're mostly there as useful side characters and don't get much screen time, so proceed with caution if that's an issue. My next derivative novel: "Which Matters More, Me or Volleyball?" My name is Tohgawa Ryo. I'm a 32-year-old man and a physical therapist. I have a partner who's handsome enough to be my dream man. He's gentle, kind, mature, and dependable. Apart from attracting way too many admirers, he's practically perfect. My partner is Oikawa Tooru, a former setter for the Argentina national team. We've been married for four years, our relationship is solid, and I hope we'll stay together for a long, long time. My only regret is that our relationship started too hastily. I was the one who pursued him, and it left me feeling insecure. Every time we argue, I ask him, "Which matters more, volleyball or me?" After asking that question for the hundredth time, I passed out from low blood sugar. When I opened my eyes again, I'd gone back twenty years. I decided to find the jerk of a partner who'd made me so mad I'd been sent back in time, and see what was so fascinating about volleyball while I was at it. I took up volleyball and enrolled at my partner's school. I recognized him the instant I saw him as a teenager. He was striking what he thought was a cool pose as he boldly taunted another school's volleyball team, looking just like a white peacock showing off its feathers. Me: Where did my gentle, kind, mature, and dependable partner go? Who is this conceited, arrogant little brat? * Tohgawa Ryo never liked sports. He chose a career he could manage without much effort, and his whole life was defined by just getting by. The only time he ever took the initiative was when he proposed to Oikawa Tooru. Even after four years of marriage to Oikawa Tooru, he still didn't think volleyball was all that interesting, so he couldn't understand Oikawa's passion for it. After being reborn, Tohgawa Ryo took a long, hard look at himself. He decided that to understand his partner, he had to start by understanding the volleyball he loved. So, against his every instinct, he began learning a sport that might very well wear him out to death. But when he landed his first successful spike, watching the ball leave his hands, clear the net, fly past the blockers, and slam into the floor, Tohgawa Ryo's heart raced. He felt as if he finally understood the fun of volleyball. Later, Tohgawa Ryo came to a clear conclusion: playing volleyball really was more important than dating a brat. :) * Three months into his relationship with Tohgawa Ryo, Oikawa Tooru was once again turned down for a date because his boyfriend had training. At long last, Oikawa Tooru couldn't take it anymore. He cornered him in the locker room and gritted his teeth. "Which matters more, volleyball or me?" Tohgawa Ryo: "?" You tell me. :) #Volleyball fanatics shouldn't tease each other about being hopeless# #How do you choose between volleyball and romance?# Theme: Write your own fate
