After My Husband Died Young, I Became the Organization's Leader

Not long after my husband died, I joined forces with his confidant and helped myself become the leader of the organization.

Two years later, the neighboring Port Mafia got a new boss. The organization was mired in infighting, and the new leader's position was precarious.

Then the new boss next door sent me an invitation, proposing a marriage alliance to unite our two powerful organizations, while using my influence to secure his position as leader.

After thinking it over, I agreed. I planned to repeat what I'd done before: kill my new husband, take charge of both organizations, and become Yokohama's one and only ruler.

The newlyweds each had their own agenda, and were "fighting" both in and out of bed.

My new husband wasn't going to die anytime soon, and I'd set my sights on his subordinates. I was determined to cheat on him, swinging my hoe with all my might to poach every capable executive he had.

A marriage that turns into love? Not a chance.

For me, it's all about getting promoted and rich by killing my husband.

To secure my position as leader and annex the Tsukimi Group's power, I put my marriage on the line and struck a deal with the group's leader.

We weren't even married yet when the other party showed up with a line of lawyers, ready to make me sign a prenuptial agreement.

After we married, my new wife and I shared a bed but not our thoughts, each plotting how to swallow up the other's organization.

We were constantly at odds, but my new wife took a third path.

Afraid my head wasn't green enough, she tried every trick in the book to steal my people away, whether I was watching or not.

What kind of husband am I? Just a hapless sucker.

How funny.

My wife failed to poach anyone. One person wasn't swayed, and another defected to the enemy.

How tragic.

I failed to poach my husband's subordinate, but my beloved stepdaughter is still my husband's ability. If he dies, she'll disappear too.

Life is full of surprises.
