Black Ranpo Doesn't Want to Talk

Copy: Rampo, Port Mafia version: a half-black kid raised by Mr. Mori, who devotes himself body and soul to the cause of his ruthless boss. In his previous life, he was practically a high-end chopping board, taking one emotional knife after another: both parents dead, his best friend turned against him, his love cut short, his home gone... In short, he died very peacefully. After winning a resurrection match in a parallel world and coming back to life after watching an ad (?), he finally began his second life. This time... He gave up his memories, quit the Mafia, and went straight, becoming an unremarkable, struggling mystery novelist. With Mr. Curry, his editor and friend, by his side, and a little raccoon reader he could cuddle whenever he liked, his happiness levels were through the roof. There was only one flaw in this perfect second life. The damn bandage-wasting machine kept disturbing his peaceful existence. All Rampo wanted was for him to stay far away. But what he never expected was... That this man was one of the romantic debts he'd left behind in his previous life? The melancholy boss pleaded: “You once promised that if we met again, it would be forever. Now it's time to keep that promise.” The gloomy executive begged: “You've already begun a new life. You should make a new choice, too.” What on earth was my past self doing? Rampo, amnesiac version, making a face of pure agony. ×2: “So who are you choosing!” Rampo: “I choose... uh, the middle.” Happy ending for all three (?) Tips: 1. OOC warning. 2. Emotional damage warning. 3. The first half focuses on Mafia Rampo and has no romance. The blurb's story is mainly about the new world, where the main plot is a love quadrangle between two people (?). 4. Pairing: Dazai. New cover by @AOHA Qingyu (so delighted) Coming soon, quick pitch: Infinite Asylum [Wildly growing little sun × gloomy, sensitive, androgynous boy who loves men] At eighteen, Kurusu is inexplicably dragged into the Infinite Asylum, where she must struggle to survive the “treatment” in one instance after another. To stay alive, a group of people with varying degrees of serious issues band together. Their team's motto: The asylum is the place to be! If your brain's messed up, come on in! But seriously, why does every instance's boss have a favorability gauge above their head instead of a health bar? Looks like the bosses have more than a few issues, too... We recommend inpatient treatment. (Very serious.) [Outpatient (Emergency): The Bizarre Reality] Have you ever questioned whether anything in front of you is real? Have you ever suspected that someone close to you might suddenly bite through your neck? You're not the one who's wrong. This world is. Welcome to the Infinite Asylum... [Examination Room One (Somatization): Vampire Instance] Food and sleep are the most basic things a person needs to survive. Without even those, “survival” becomes a living hell... [Examination Room Two (PTSD): Laboratory Instance: I'm Not Me. The One Who Kills Everyone Wins] [Examination Room Three (Attachment): Foreign Country Instance: The Home Sought for a Lifetime] [Examination Room Four (Stockholm Syndrome): Mafia Instance: Justice That Can Never Be Touched] [Examination Room Five (Regression Therapy): Evil God Instance: The Year He Was Seven] Bonus scene: About the hospital's top-ranked patient, who's obsessed with sending the boss an offer of admission Bystander A: I'll bet all my medical points that this person has a terminal case of lovesickness! Bystander B: NO, NO, NO. I've got a reliable informant on their team. She's clearly been bewitched by the boss! Kurusu: What are you babbling about? Lingwu, take my admission offer! Lingwu: Thanks, but no thanks. Reader tips: 1. The male and female leads are mutually committed to their respective conditions. They're locked in. 2. The male lead has multiple personalities, and keeps playing hard-to-get games in every instance. 3. The female lead is clever and cute, but not some superhuman genius. This is not a strong female lead story. The male lead does save the female lead, among other plot points, so don't read if that's not your thing. Theme: Love and redemption
