My personal take on Alice in this story is that her ability has gained a mind of its own. She listens to Mori Ogai, but has her own opinions about some harmless things.
My personal take on Dazai's ability: direct contact triggers it passively. With indirect contact, other people touching him has no effect. When he touches others, it works passively at first and actively later. This doesn't stray completely from the original, since if indirect contact worked, shouldn't the ground conduct the ability too? The original rules for indirect contact were pretty vague, so I'm making up some details here.
"No Longer Human" Dazai Osamu seemed to have been made the butt of fate's joke.
Fate was unfair. No one had ever wanted Dazai Osamu to be born.
Yet fate was fair, too. Dazai Osamu would make the fullest possible use of the very birth that no one had wanted.
An illegitimate child, Mori Ogai's illegitimate child: this identity let him kick his father, who had been the Port Mafia Boss for less than three years, out of office... Well... with help from the inside and the outside.
In short, fate had never opened a door for Dazai, but it kept opening windows for him!!! So Dazai Osamu wasn't just Mori Ogai's illegitimate child, but fate's illegitimate child too, right?!
Rumor had it that the Port Mafia had a Port Mafia youth squad. It started with two members and later grew to four. No one dared mess with them, because the two Bosses, past and present, stood behind them.
There was also a rumor, known only within the Port Mafia, that the youth squad's support was crucial to current Boss Dazai Osamu's rise to power and his dramatic turnaround.
Whether the truth matched the rumors was known only to those involved.

1. The characters are from Bungo Stray Dogs. Their characterization is based on the original; any out-of-character moments are the author's fault.
2. The Armed Detective Agency storyline won't appear in the main story, but it will be in the extras. Dazai will still join the Agency; I'll explain why in the story.
3. I'm a new author with a new story, so the plot and characters may be out of character. Please close the page if that's not to your taste.

In terms of Dazai's strange sense of shame, he would be afraid of others playing straight, but he wouldn't mind such things as women's clothing. He might run around in women's clothing, but then it would be Chuuya who would mind.
