Monk, You Don't Understand Love

Now accepting favorites for my upcoming story, "Red Peonies by the Bridge"!

Fox spirit: "Monk, you don't understand love~"

Little monk: "Who says I don't!"

The fox spirit twirled her hair and fluttered her eyelashes. "Then show me what love is, darling~"

The little monk immediately closed his eyes and recited "Amitabha" a hundred and eighty times in his heart, the corners of his eyes curving upward.

"There are many ways to love. Why choose this one?"

The fox spirit answered frankly, "But this is the kind of love I like~"

As they talked, a snow-white, seven-tailed fox appeared in the little monk's arms.

The little monk closed his eyes, then opened them again. Holding the fluffy white fox, he looked utterly helpless. "You..."

A little while later~

Oh dear, the fox spirit couldn't help giggling as he stroked her fur ╭(╯^╰)╮

Little monk, you say one thing but your actions say another!

The little monk is gentle and kind in the beginning, but aloof and ascetic later on.

Theme: There is no boundary between humans and demons; good and evil are matters of the heart.
