The Bird Trapped in a Cage

Huang Ying is a bird.

A bird with an especially beautiful song.

One day, while flying through the woods in search of food, she came across a man lying on the ground, barely clinging to life.

The man was incredibly handsome, so Huang Ying kindly took him home and saved him.

What she never expected was that she would end up getting herself into trouble.

To repay her for saving his life, the man built her an extraordinarily luxurious birdcage.

Every day, he fed her the finest clothes and delicacies from land and sea. The tiny bird grew plumper and plumper, until she could barely fly.

But Huang Ying was unwilling to be a bird in a cage. She longed for the freedom of the open sky.

She still wanted to fly!

So, to gross out the man who had locked her up and make him let her go, she pooped on his face every day.

But instead of being grossed out, the man said her poop smelled amazing!

Huang Ying started to think there might be something seriously wrong with him.

Finally, one day, an immortal in white descended from the sky and freed Huang Ying from her cage.

Huang Ying was overjoyed when the immortal in white took her away, but the man who had wanted to repay her for saving his life and had fattened her up went mad!

The man began searching for her frantically.

Huang Ying had thought she would finally be free to fly wherever she pleased, but instead, she had gone from one cage to another, even harder to escape.
