About this story:

An icy beauty x a scheming, deceptively innocent black-hearted man

All the world sees is snow falling across the land, a thousand miles of frozen earth and endless white.

But no one knows that beneath the snow lie heaps of bones and rivers of blood.

The day Si Zhukong first met Dong Xue, he saw a magnificent scene of a thousand miles of frozen earth and snow blowing across the land, right there in a desert ravaged by wind and sand.

He led his four subordinates to ambush Dong Xue in the desert.

Unfortunately for them, they lost.

Yet he stood in the blizzard, perfectly composed, smiling like a spring breeze.

Watching the aloof, proud woman in white, blood blossoming across her clothes like flowers, he thought: Perhaps this is another good chance to get close to her and obtain the key to Longyuan hidden on her.

So he sent the others away and approached Dong Xue alone, putting on a fine performance of his own making.

He played dumb, acted pitiful, and clung to her for protection whenever danger struck.

Even as the bitter cold made him shiver, he gave her his last warm coat to wear, hoping to keep her warm. Sadly, she wasn't having any of it~

To get the key, he schemed every which way, deceiving her younger brother and stealing her heart, stopping at nothing.

But then he got so caught up in his role that he nearly forgot who he was.

And what was he supposed to be doing in the first place?

In the end, time teaches us the truth: never forget your original purpose, and you can see things through to the end.

Otherwise, like him, you'll fail to get the key, lose the beauty as well, and be left beating your chest, clutching your head, and weeping with regret.

Of course, no matter what, you must never give up easily. So he set off to find her again, to pursue her just as he had before...

Theme: Never forget your original purpose, and you can see things through to the end. Persevere, and you can succeed.
