Synopsis:

There's always a higher heaven, and always someone greater.

A proud, aloof, and immensely powerful female protagonist, and... whoever you think the male lead is, that's who it is. Or by the end, you may decide there isn't one at all.

Because the female protagonist ends up with no one! After all, she's focused on her career!

(Any pairing goes. Anyone can be matched with anyone.)

Synopsis for When the Demoness Breaks Free of Her Seal:

When the demoness broke free of her seal, she abducted a disciple from the immortal sect that had sealed her away.

They say this disciple is the son of the current sect leader of the Xianxia Sect, a proper and upright young hero with a bright future ahead of him.

But ever since the demoness abducted him, she has bullied him day in and day out, putting him through all kinds of humiliating things until he can barely face himself.

Finally, one day, he can't take it anymore. He decides to fight back, overthrow the demoness, and pin her beneath him so she can taste what it's like to be humiliated. But he only ends up bringing trouble upon himself!

His rebellion comes to nothing, and the demoness hangs him up and beats him again.

The demoness pats his cheek and laughs arrogantly. "If you can say something nice to me right now and make me happy, maybe I'll let you off this time."

The young hero doesn't want to die. He has to stay alive. Only then might he have a chance to overthrow the demoness and repay her for all the humiliation he has suffered at her hands!

So, with blood and tears in his eyes, he kisses every strand of her hair and says, "I love you. I love you so much that I'd be willing to make enemies of every immortal sect for you!

I love you so much that if anyone dares touch a single strand of your hair, I'll shave them bald and turn them into a monk.

(Of course, anyone means anyone but himself.)

I love you so much that if anyone dares lay a finger on you, I'll tear them limb from limb..."

The demoness hears him and bursts into laughter. Delighted, she grants him another day to live.

And later, the young hero does everything he promised for that demoness.

On the day the five great immortal sects besieged the demoness, the Xianxia Sect was among them. But instead of helping his sect destroy her, he fought with murderous fury on her behalf.

As he looked at the ground awash in blood, he could think of only one thing: he had to protect the demoness. He wouldn't let her die. He wanted her to live.

This is probably a story about a demoness and a young hero who love and fight each other.

Theme: Persevere and work hard, and you can achieve success.
