I Remember

When Mu Rong was nineteen, she met two people who taught her what it meant to hurt.

Yan Bing said that the moment a moth flew into a flame was a moment of happiness.

Later, she disappeared into the crowd, leaving behind only the words, "May the green lamp accompany you forever; I have grown tired of the mortal world."

Zhang Xijin said, "We're from different worlds."

Later, he died in the hospital. Burning with fever and delirious, he called out her name.

It took Mu Rong many years to understand that some people really do love you.

And it's also true that you can't be together.

The person she pretended to have forgotten had spent their entire time together doing everything they could to help her live well.
